Gas Explosion Destroys Connecticut Home, Killing Anthony Fratino {AOL Real Estate}
Sep 1st 2012 8:55PM Hey guys. Everyone calling everyone a dumbass. Mostly men in the trades, I would think. Seems like everyone thinks everyone's a dumbass, except the comments that just comment.
Hotel And Event Hosts Sued By Family Of Girl Killed Sliding Down A Banister {Gadling}
Jul 27th 2012 5:35PM What has this to do with liberals? I'm liberal and I think this suit is ridiculous.
She was a grown woman and should have been responsible for her own actions.
Jail Time for Phoenix Man Who Hosted Bible Study at His Home {AOL Real Estate}
Jul 8th 2012 3:02PM Who is this Lucifer person? Have you ever met Lucifer? I should think this is a mythological person in your bible. But, I don't think we've ever met this man I think the name implies a man.
Family Faces Eviction Over Toddler's Noise {AOL Real Estate}
Feb 1st 2012 10:48PM The mother smiles as the child jumps with glee on the couch. Just looking at the picture makes me feel sorry for the neighbors. This is an undisciplined child and a mother seemingly lacking in parenting skills. I wouldn't want to be her neighbor, as her neighbors don't seem to want to be either, and I don't know about wanting to be her child. The child may think doing anything she likes is ok, and it's going to be a hard lesson to learn that it's not OK to do anything you want. I don't think anyone is advocating abusing the child, just merely trying to get the child to act in a more disciplined way. Jumping on a couch should be forbidden in most houses, but it's her house to do as she wishes. However, loud screaming should not be allowed. Seems like the dad is letting the mom have the say and most likely, the child is the boss.
Former Miss Venezuela Eva Ekvall, 28, loses battle with breast cancer {Celestrellas}
Dec 19th 2011 6:09PM MMC: Nicole's comment is insightful. She's wondering, as I am, if breast implants contributed to the woman's death. Why isn't that a good question? She's still sorry for the death. Nothing at all nasty in her comment.
Vacant House Yields Late Owner's Stash of Cash {AOL Real Estate}
Nov 9th 2011 9:25PM Jankowski, You're obviously republican, and maybe a plumber. Any self-respecting OWSer would have returned the money. No doubt about that.
Who Wore it Best? Jessica Alba and Helen Mirren Look Fierce in Leopard Print [Photos, Poll] {Stylelist (Main)}
Jul 23rd 2011 10:21AM I wonder why Helen Mirren is the only older actress cited as great looking, great dressing, etc. There are plenty of older actresses that look great and act great. Why this one actress is constantly cited is beyond me. It's as though, only she can represent the myriad choices of older wonderful women in film and theatre.
Pump Wear's Julie DeFruscio: Helping Kids Battle Diabetes in Style {AOL Small Business}
Jul 12th 2011 7:29PM Type I diabetes is different, or rather the cause is different, than type II. Children can get Type I and Type II. Usually, overweight children get Type II. Type I strikes for no apparent reason. It has nothing to do with an hereditary proclivity. It may be a virus that totally destroys the gland or the hormones. We don't know the reason for Type I. Kudos to this mother who went ahead to work to make life easier for her children.
Worst Celebrity Clothing Lines | Miley Cyrus vs. Heidi Montag {Stylelist (Main)}
Jun 29th 2011 11:01AM The English/grammar is so bad in these articles, unfortunately. Note first paragraph under the photos. Why are there no proofreaders? We've been dumbed down. Do we have to go further with our writers?
So sad.
Motherhood Moments: Love Means Having to Say You're Sorry {ParentDish}
May 8th 2011 7:39PM It's interesting that usually people who haven't experienced the hurt will say, forget it, let it go, etc. But, really no one forgets. The Christians remember, every year the death of their lord, the Jews remember being slaves in Egypt, I'm sure the Muslims have their thing to remember. We all remember every little thing. And, maybe remembering helps to change our attitudes and our decisions.
We can't ever forget the hurts, anymore than we can forget our moments of happiness, but we can grow from the memories...hopefully.
