Teen Gets Passport & Heads to Middle East for MySpace Man {Gadling}

Jun 11th 2006 10:15AM Why is it that we expect smart, socially active people, like this girl to NOT use those smarts to acheive their goals, regardless of the "rules of safety". The rules are one way of thinking; not an excuse for not thinking.
Hell, I'd love to go to Afghanistan and talk with some of the people my country's troops are defending. I just not smart enough to get a leave from work and convince my wife the trip is worth it (with or without her).
