Jul 29th 2009 2:21PM Where's the big moonroof? Especially at a time when many of the competing wagons are getting panoramic roofs.
And I have to agree with many. The 2009 is/was a much better design. This seems disjointed. The back window doesn't slope at the same angle as the D-pillar, the front end looks like it has several lines joining at odd angles, and the taillights look more like a wrong-sized after-thought that, sourced from the Tribeca to save money.
And where's the turbo? That's the most fun version to drive.
Guess I'll be holding on to my 2007 XT for a long time, and that's not really a bad thing.
Rapping flight attendant entertains passengers on Southwest {Gadling}
Mar 16th 2009 1:27PM It's not about being cute or funny, it's about getting people to pay attention to something they hear every day. This guy did an excellent job. I bet that more people learned the safety procedures from this performance than just about any other way.
Southwest does a better job than most any other airline in the industry at keeping passengers happy. And safe. And keeping a few extra bucks in their wallets.
There are a couple people on every flight that just don't like it. The whole standing-in-line thing, the good moods and jovial attitude of just about every employee as they actually HELP you on to the plane. It's about efficiency, safety, and customer satisfaction. Kudos to Southwest for doing a better job.
