Dear sir, we are a little short on AIDS in this country. The people of this country and I were wondering if there was anyway we could spread the worlds carriers of AIDS around a little better. We don't think it's fair that third world countries are the exclusive importers of AIDS. With that, we have a proposal for you. We think the US should step up and be a main importer of AIDS. We should embrace AIDS and all it can offer to the citizens and I. This would be a super cool way for you to spread such a wonderful disease around. Awesome idea eh? See, once the US becomes an AIDS super power, we can then become the main exporter of this lovely virus and the rest of the world will see how "diverse" and "open minded" we can be. Please consider this...modest proposal.

Oct 10th 2009 5:12PM For everyone who is jumping down the throat of someone who doesn't think Obama deserves the Prize, why don't you check on the deadline date of the Nobel Peace Prize. The submissions for the 2009 Nobel Peace Prize were due in 11 days after Obama came into office. Don't you find that a little "pre-planned"? If you can get a Nobel Peace Prize for "hoping for peace" then you better give every single Miss America pageant contestant (that there ever was) a Nobel Peace Prize as well, because they all ask for "world peace". It was my understanding that you actually had to "DO" something to win it. Not talk about potentially doing it or thinking about it. And about the whole Chicago-Olympic deal...Chicago is 400+million in debt already. Why would you want to drag them even further in the mud with a new complex and a temporary boost in tourist travel? The bitterness of debt will last long after the sweetness of being the host of the Olympics, I assure you.
