Jan 14th 2011 6:15PM @Jack Kevorkian only way the game could be considered a flop is if it didn't make back it's orginial investment. and if it's done 5 million units worldwide, i am pretty sure it's on it's way or already has done so.
we are also looking at sku-ed numbers. where more than half of the top games are combined totals from 2 or 3 different console iterations. and lets no bother with the fact that the game sells way better in the EU region than in the NA region. but you're right huge flop.
it's crazy how a game can sell over 5 million copies in about 2 months and we can label it a flop.

Jan 14th 2011 5:21PM @Finito keep in mind those other versions of the game came packed in with consoles at some point in time as well. think about though in 2 months it's already sold half of what the original sold. i would think that is fairly impressive

Jan 14th 2011 5:18PM @Jack Kevorkian you realize that the 1.25 only accounts for the NA region and the EU region is where the game sells the best at right? the EU has always been the best selling region for the game and it seems to be that way still. overall the game has sold roughly 5 million copies around 2 months. thats not bad at all for any game
