Mar 28th 2011 6:37PM think you're stretching a bit.
Feb 20th 2011 2:37PM @Twist Karts are a blast in GT5. its fun(and a bit nerve racking) to race them on a track like Nurburg.
and watching the sun set on theTuscany track and then start to see the fireworks go off is a thing of beauty
Feb 16th 2011 5:53PM @The Minn sure go ahead and Jailbreak it. just don't expect the company to continue to support you..
Feb 16th 2011 5:44PM @warren2345 why is would it be disturbing? you broke your contract with them. so they don't feel the need to support your system since you couldn't follow your users agreement.
Jan 15th 2011 3:43PM @sticks all that shows is your friends like arcade racers a bit more. i have more people that own GT5 on my friends list than i do NFS. all that proves is my friends list pals like sim races more. so you point really holds no scientific merit what so ever.
Jan 14th 2011 7:49PM @cool8man well when new hardware comes out you need something to play right?
Jan 14th 2011 6:17PM @Syesta yet that should come to no surprise of people that have followed the franchise over the years. it has always been that way and probably will always stay that way as well
Jan 14th 2011 6:15PM @Jack Kevorkian only way the game could be considered a flop is if it didn't make back it's orginial investment. and if it's done 5 million units worldwide, i am pretty sure it's on it's way or already has done so.
we are also looking at sku-ed numbers. where more than half of the top games are combined totals from 2 or 3 different console iterations. and lets no bother with the fact that the game sells way better in the EU region than in the NA region. but you're right huge flop.
it's crazy how a game can sell over 5 million copies in about 2 months and we can label it a flop.
Jan 14th 2011 5:21PM @Finito keep in mind those other versions of the game came packed in with consoles at some point in time as well. think about though in 2 months it's already sold half of what the original sold. i would think that is fairly impressive
Jan 14th 2011 5:18PM @Jack Kevorkian you realize that the 1.25 only accounts for the NA region and the EU region is where the game sells the best at right? the EU has always been the best selling region for the game and it seems to be that way still. overall the game has sold roughly 5 million copies around 2 months. thats not bad at all for any game
