Jul 15th 2010 1:03AM Doug: You are so very correct. I have had to live away from my family, because selling the house which I have owned for 12 years is impossible. This has beeen so very difficult on the middle class family. Our country has been poorly managed by both Democrats and Republicans. When you have leaders that give themselves pay raises in the middle of the night you cannot expect much from our leaders. The greed in our corporate leaders is beyond what people even know. I am all for free enterprise but not at the expense of ruining our country.My Dad and Mom that went through the depression and gave up a lot in World War 2 would never have been greedy with their employees. I feel so very badly for our Grand Kids.I see this getting worse before it gets better if
we do not find middle class leaders. There are so many qualified people not finding work that can raise a family. Most jobs do not pay as much as I made while driving a cement mixer in the 70s, when I was in college. You could buy a new car for $3400.00 Pay off your college by working in the summer.

Apr 23rd 2010 4:35AM I will go out of my way to FLY "SPIRIT" . I never ever put my seat back unless no one is behind me. I know how it is to have your knees cramped. Great idea.

Oct 5th 2009 9:11AM My Mom started having trouble with small motor skills and then I eventually had to take her car away from her after she totaled two. She passsed last February but I felt taking the car or freedom away from her was the final nail in the coffin. I had a sister who lived 3,000 miles awa who did nothing who I had found out had my Mom put the will in her name. My sister did not do a thing. Her husband did not even come to the funeral. If I never spoke with my greedy sister ever again it would be st soon. My Mom was very much into education so my sister told her that she needed all the money for her daughters education. I could not believe this happennned to me. My sister lied to me right at my Moms funeral and said there was no will . This is a true story I would not believe this if it did not happen to me. I helped my Mom for 4 years when she started to slip. My sister had no idea how much my mom cost and later she accued me of taking her money. I shoveld, daily trips and meals. House up keep, two new cars, Taking her daily to the sporting events of her grand kids which i enjoyed. I was called in the middle of the night dozens of times from taking her to the hospital to sounds in the basement. I honestly did not mind. Did it get old ? Hell Yes. My Mom did not drive well .That is an understatement. She was worse than Mrs Magoo. She though Walmr was called ALWAYS. They were just doing construction. When they put flowers outside she thought the store was throwing them out. She would take them. I moved her from Madison to Green Bay so i could look after her better. I hit the housing market wromg . Getting old and this past 4 years with my Mom was difficult at best and to have a sister who was not ever around was worse. If you need advice I would help.
