Mar 10th 2009 4:17PM Not really sure now's the best time to be visiting Riga, as their government just collapsed.

A No-Brainer Hot Chocolate Recipe {Slashfood}
Dec 11th 2008 2:08PM This sounds phenomenal. It would be perfect for a gray, blah day at work... which is exactly what I'm having right now. *wonders if she has enough time for a grocery store run*
The Sounds of Travel 6: "Oh My Sweet Carolina" {Gadling}
Nov 12th 2008 5:03PM Wow, I don't even like Ryan Adams, but this is a great song. It makes me want to go away, just so I can miss being home.
Dogs deserve natural gourmet foods too {Slashfood}
Sep 8th 2008 6:19PM I definitely get and really like the trend towards natural pet food. What I don't understand, however, is feeding dogs vegetarian food. I'm nearly vegetarian, and I don't think it's a strange dietary choice for humans, but for dogs and cats who are naturally hunters, it seems strange to me, and bad nutrition.

Where in the world is the most expensive cup of coffee? {Slashfood}
Aug 15th 2008 5:07PM The cup of coffee I'm actually drinking right now was an wonderfully affordable $0.90. I work in Newark, NJ and my 10 oz cup came from a wonderful local coffee shop called T.M. Ward's. I'm there nearly every day!
United to offer free Ipod to inflight entertainment functionality {Gadling}
Jun 16th 2008 2:48PM I hope other airlines get on this bandwagon!! I disagree that only 20-30 year old males would be in on this. For one thing, I'm female (though in the age range) and I'd be all about this. Too bad I can't afford to fly first class and I don't like United. :/
American Airlines to charge for FIRST checked bag {Gadling}
May 21st 2008 11:26AM Though I'm not completely surprised, I am incensed. I can't wait for airlines to start losing more and more money as people choose trains and cars for smaller trips. I sure won't be flying AA.
What are your foodie limits? {Slashfood}
May 16th 2008 12:27PM Bugs. Anything with insects. There are a ton of other things I won't eat, either; like internal organs and such but I could never eat something with a bug in it. Ugggh. I have a hard enough time with crayfish.
Bleary-eyed in the city that never sleeps {Slashfood}
May 3rd 2008 3:41PM To John: If you can afford to live in Manhattan, you can afford to move somewhere else.
