Jun 29th 2011 2:32PM Curious,how much was the tasting menu meal? It sounds like you did not have wine with your meal. Is it possible to have a wine pairing for the various courses?

Sep 18th 2010 7:56PM Thanks for the detailed information. On average, I fly internationally only 2-3 times a year. Last time through immigration in BOS, an agent chatted with me about GE, he said it was great, and it really does sound like it is. At ~$10 a trip, I might be tempted.

Oct 16th 2008 3:47PM What a great opportunity to revisit a city that I was last in over thirty years ago. And of course, a chance to experience this new flight, offered by the new airline OpenSkies, is terrific too.

Cockpit Chronicles: Travel Tip: Don't leave home without pants! {Gadling}

Feb 20th 2008 2:20PM Kent, your writing is terrific. I especially have enjoyed your blog articles on the BOS-LHR route, on AA 156 and 155, since I have flown these flights numerous times. And I for one, am glad the 777 is coming back, the 767 I was on last month was ok, at least it is a wide body, but that is about the only positive I have to say. It had not occurred to me that the crew would be equally as fond of these trips as I am, since for me it is a great way to start a European trip (minimal jet lag). But when I think about the flight attendants on this itinerary, it makes sense that they seem to be more senior than on the domestic AA flights that I fly out of BOS.
On other notes, I also enjoyed the video of the view from up front and the accompanying music. Again, it is wonderful to see plane travel from your perspective! And I do appreciate your sense of humor as well. Something about those odd and unanticipated travel moments, that when shared, bring a smile to ones face.
