Dec 29th 2010 12:51PM Michael Vick was simply being used by the media? Looks like you are the gullible one. What he did was sick and twisted. He tortured, maimed and electrocuted living beings for FUN and PROFIT. He deserved what he got and should still be rotting in a jail cell. I am assuming you didn't see the videos or photos, because if you did I think your attitude towards this would be different.
He was not guilty by association. He ran the dog ring out of HIS house and profited from it. He helped electrocute and kill the dogs. That's not guilt by association, that's pure guilt.
Both Ben and Kobe were in the media spotlight for months regarding their cases, so to say they didn't get ostracized by the media and only Vick did is wrong.
I agree Ben should be in jail. He just had a great lawyer and a lot more money to pay the girl off. It's disgusting what people get away with in this country. Donte Stallworth KILLS a man, and never serves time plus is now back playing in the NFL. Shameful.
And to be honest, Michael is a pure criminal. What he did is disgusting. Only a sick a twisted human being would do something like that to a living being.
I am in no way perfect, don't claim to be. But, I do know the difference between right and wrong. Human and inhumane. This guy is a sicko and serving two years in jail won't change that.

And as for Vick, Donte Stallworth, Ben Roethlisberger,Pac Man Jones, etc. They should all be banned. No, I am not perfect, but I am no criminal. If I was to be sent to prison, then got out, it would take MANY years to rebuild my life if at all. I've never killed an animal let alone over 200. I've never driven drunk and killed a person. How can we look the other way and allow these people to make millions of dollars and be a role model to children?
I don't care how good of an athlete he may be, or how much time he did in prison. He's a bad person who doesn't deserve to be where he is. And for those of you who are rooting for him because he gives your team a W and can turn a blind eye to what he did, well, unfortunately you are no better.
