Only In Dubai: World's First Hello Kitty Spa Opens {Gadling}
Jun 21st 2012 2:32AM Well, since I can't afford to travel, the decor means nothing but I sure wouldn't go to a spa like that in my town. It's too kid-like.
Travel Like a Boss: Onboard Singapore Airlines new A380 out of JFK {Gadling}
Feb 19th 2012 12:53PM Nice digs for business and 1st class. Coach still doesn't look like much leg room and small seats as usual. I'd guess the 1st class has to cost a minimum of $6 to 8 Grand, and more likely in the $12 to $20 thousand range for a bed, flat screen tv, personal service, meals, etc. I didnt see where a person could shower which would be nice after a long trip.
Win a Mint Plus Automatic Floor Cleaner! {Shopping Articles Blog}
Dec 13th 2011 4:45PM I am sorry, but I dont want one of these. I just had to comment that the more of these so-called 'time savers' the fatter we get as a society who eat fast food and prepared, frozen packaged items that are not good for us. If a person is so busy they dont have time to clean their own bathroom or kitchen floors, then I would say they need to sit down and prioritize their life and eliminate other things that they should not have in their lives.
Crave-Worthy Wide Calf Boots Under $100 {Shopping Articles Blog}
Nov 6th 2011 2:23PM looks more like a lot of the high end fashion styles, not something comfortable for everyday wear to work. And they don't look like wide calf styles either. Fashion designers only truly design for those women who are 6 fett tall and weigh 100 lbs and wear size zero, whico to me is NOT a size, and size two. I want a decent pair of books to wear in ice, snow and slush, not something to wear to impress people. This is another one of those 'bait and switch' articles as far as I am concerned. Must be a slow news day for AOL
Books by Gadling bloggers {Gadling}
Aug 24th 2011 3:02PM I found two books on the list that drew nt interest. Byzantium: An Illustrated History by Seab McLachlan and An Irreverent Curiosity: In Search of the Church's Strangest Relic in Italy's Oddest Town by David Farley. For lovers of stories ini the Middle Ages, I recently started "Lady of Hay" by Barbara Erskine and reincarnation of a modern day woman in London and her 800 yr old connection to Matilda wife of William de Briose. Reincarnation and hypnosis takes her back to the time of King John and Merry Olde England.
Thirty abandoned churches from around the world {Gadling}
Aug 8th 2011 4:56PM Too bad the city wasn't listed for each church! Some people 'might' have liked to have taken a drive and pass by and take a look!
WIN IT! Springmaid's New Garden-Inspired Bedding {Shelterpop}
Jul 30th 2011 4:04PM Grey/white garden as I have grey carpet as it is! Would be lovely! Make that a full size set of sheets and pillow cases but I prefer a queen size comforter. 'Thanks!
Minute Makeover: Change Up Your Pillowscape {Shelterpop}
Jul 30th 2011 4:01PM I agree with all the comments - all those pillows are a pain to take off and put on - a bed is for sleeping and not for anyone else to see anyway. Put the pillows on the LR furniture to perk up the room.
It Happened Last Night: Hailee Steinfeld {Stylelist (Main)}
Jul 20th 2011 8:09PM Out of 30+ 'outfits' I wouldn't be caught dead or alive in - don't they know you do NOT carry a big, leather purse with a formal dress? Nor do you wear big, black thick leaterh sandal-like heels with a party dress? Some of the prints looked like they came out of someone's kitchen or bathroom. Horrendous. Black ankle boots with a white Some of them look like they dressed in a dark closet; others like they got dressed at the local consignment store. I saw 'maybe' two dresses that were appropriate and one was more of a formal like afternoon dress with leather heels that did not compliment the dress. These girls/women NEED stylists for they sure didn't dress appropriately unless they were going to a Halloween party and forgot their masks.
Here Comes the Bride | Winning Toilet Paper Wedding Gown Announced [Photos] {Stylelist (Main)}
Jul 8th 2011 6:42PM With people in the world starving, dying, having no clean water to drink, all this is a waste of good money and time.
I'd be more impressed if the people who dreamed up this 'contest' would focus on helping those in third world countries and built some wells so people could have fresh water instead of contaminated water.
