Hire a "professional" and not a salaried employee or anyone with a computer, an illustration program and 2 weeks training on Lynda.com...
Crowd-Sourcing is, in other words getting something for nothing. Getting 1000's of ideas and concepts without spending a dime... then re-tooling the best and calling it your own... STOP BEING CHEAP!!! you WILL get what you pay for (as seen already).
I thought more of The Gap and their image... Not now...Pfffft!

Oct 7th 2010 2:46PM The whole logo looks like an afterthought. Seems as if they [TheGap] lowered their standards and enlisted a (contest design web-sites) aka crowd-sourcing to get this "NEW" logo... Please say it ain't so! And if a "real" designer did it...? You all got ripped off. The typeface doesn't work and the box? is an afterthought. Too sterile.
This is very ordinary and does not communicate the excitement of The Gap brand. It looks like every other logo out there.. It might work for a health care brand or maybe an insurance company... Seems being mediocre is the new "IT" factor in design from anyone with the tools. So sad!

Jul 27th 2009 1:52PM I used to watch the show, it's like a train wreck. Who in their right mind actually believes in a happily ever after scenario that develops on national tv? I actually respected Brad's decision to leave empty handed. He saved all involved a lot of heartache from the fraud it is/would have been... True love takes more than 10(?) weeks and is not a reality show contest... The show should be renamed... Desperate 2 Love... What Not to Do.
