Nov 1st 2009 6:55PM If I have one or two items that are barcoded, a small bill to put in the slot, and the lines at regular checkout are long, then I appreciate the self checkout. If I need to start keying in codes or risk getting back 19 five dollar bills as change, forget it. I have found that if I look confused, someone comes and helps and I'm out the door while others stay in line. I know, you're all guessing my age and gender....dumb old person, dumb woman,.....or even my hair color...dumb bottle blonde. Guess away! In the meantime, I'm paid and gone. : )

Aug 18th 2009 10:52AM You are correct. For all of the Bush presidency there was no outcry of hate speech when he was defaced on posters and called any name in the book. This is the subtle - or not so subtle - playing of the race card since half of Obama is a protected class.
It's really making me sick and, frankly, it's helping to galvanize opposition to the Dems and Obama. People are now seeing this charade for what it is.
