Historian Makes Black Kids Act Out Slavery in Front of White Peers {BV Black Spin}
Nov 7th 2009 4:18PM Most times students do volunteer to play the roles they're given, and it's not the teacher forcing them into it.
Some African-Americans have no roots to Africa, yet, this culture is enhanced in education,and is part of the curriculum in some colleges.
From my experiences in multicultural neighborhoods and schools, I have heard blacks cry that it's their right to get, as it's owed them, as their ancestors were slaves! Yet, they fail to realize that it was an African that sold their own into slavery, and it was the white Irish that were the first indentured servants here!
Historian Makes Black Kids Act Out Slavery in Front of White Peers {BV Black Spin}
Nov 7th 2009 4:12PM What is wrong with children, Black, Whites, Asian or other portraying and reenacting scenes that occurred in that era! It is indeed hands on history!
Why then is it alright for white or other cultures to have to swallow black history, whether in an elementary, high school or college?
George Stephanopoulos Should Replace Diane Sawyer on 'Good Morning America' {Inside TV Blog}
Oct 29th 2009 4:08PM In my opinion; I would believe that George Stephanopolous would be the better choice to replace Diane Sawyer, as he's very knowledgeable in the polilitical realm and has international wisdom, also strong public relation skills.
Chris Cuomo has the charm, caring personality and is very well hands on in reporting news, including putting his life in danger to go where our military are fighting or when other disasters occur to enhance his knowledge of world affairs and humanity.
Just being selfish, as I prefer to watch George Stephanopolous on Sunday's, don't want him to leave his show, "This Week!"

Oct 29th 2009 7:53AM It would be much more refreshing if Elizabeth Vargas could replace Elisabeth(babble tantrum throwing)Hasselbeck on "The View," lending to a much more intellectual and rewarding show.
George Stephanopoulos Should Replace Diane Sawyer on 'Good Morning America' {Inside TV Blog}
Oct 29th 2009 7:46AM George Stephanopoulos is the best news reporter for the political realm, and is very worldly in international affairs. I wouldn't mind him replacing Diane Sawyer, as I know he'd be an asset to the broadcast, however, the only condition, he doesn't leave his weekly show, "This Week!"
Chris Cuomo or Bob Woodruff would both be an exemplary choice to replace Diane Sawyer. Chris Cuomo has for years worked with Diane Sawyer and had shown over time, his charm, knowledge and public relations skills can attract a wide audience.
Good Luck to Diane Sawyer and may the best person replace her with much future success.
High School Sweethearts Reunite, Marry After 50 Years Apart {Lemondrop}
Oct 25th 2009 11:41AM Melinda; I am sorry you don't have respect for others' opinions, as I do of yours, however dear, I do speak from observation and experience. I have overtime, heard stories and seen many marriages to past loves turn ugly. I have also heard stories of conquering the odds, against what others have said wouldn't last.
Being a skeptic, I don't wish this couple ill will, but can't help why they didn't do all in their power to reunite after the car accident?
I do know full well what a controlling mother or mother in law can do to marriages.
High School Sweethearts Reunite, Marry After 50 Years Apart {Lemondrop}
Oct 25th 2009 10:34AM Alright, I misread this story, and mixed roles, however, it can be vice versa, she knowing he's a widower since 2007, and she having 2 failed marriages, and in preying on his vunerability, may want financial security, and not giving a damn about the man, as she too, would've ran to his base, contacted him and written him or contacted his family to let them know she was well and that she wanted to see him again.
Hopefully, this man isn't foolish enough or truly in love with her that he's blinded with emotions and let her bleed him dry.
Best Wishes to this couple.
High School Sweethearts Reunite, Marry After 50 Years Apart {Lemondrop}
Oct 25th 2009 10:26AM Wish this couple many years of God's Blessings filled with good health and happiness always.
Why didn' t this man go after her, or even check to see if she were alright once they were out of the hospital, sorry, the mom may have tried to control the situation, but he being in the Air Force, could've written or contacted the love of his life if he truly wanted to be with her at that time.
She married and is a widow since 2007, he being married and divorced twice, now finds the nerve and know how in contacting her, sounds like he's after her benefits, as he may be paying spousal and/or child support for his previous marriages.
Wish this couple well and do hope she has her assets secured in her name, and naming in a will, other relatives.
Falcon Heene Balloon Boy Story Has Legs {Popeater}
Oct 20th 2009 6:48PM Sensationalize this family's actions and reward them with the notariety and attention that led them to this criminal event. How nice, they're rewarded for using the tax payers dollars, for abusing the systems; FAA, FCC, 911, National Guard, Law Enforcement, Emergency Management, Federal, State, Local and County government.
Mom Arrested After Using Teen as Human Bungee Cord {ParentDish}
Oct 9th 2009 6:39PM When a mother allows a minor control, and has no regard for the safety and well being of their child, they're certainly immature and irresponsible and are in need of help! Fortunately, the teen is alright and not lying dead on the road, perhaps fallen off the roof and being hit by an oncoming vehicle. Just the fall alone from the force of the moving car could've severely injured or killed this child.
Mother does need to be supervised and in counseling for parenting skills. What a classy role model. Parents aren't friends, they're to protect and care for the well being of their child, not allow the child the control over them. Common decency and sense do go along way!
