Mom Allegedly Threatens Little League Official Because Her Son Didn't Make the Team {ParentDish}
Jun 21st 2011 8:11PM She needs to be medicated heavily, or at least cut some meds if they're making her.. or whatever that weirdo is... act like such a dork.
And no, I'm not a parent. But if I was, I wouldn't be THAT dumb.
Wrestling Icon 'Macho Man' Randy Savage Dies in Florida Car Accident {PopEater}
May 20th 2011 1:23PM I forgot he was the Slim Jim spokesperson. Well, when I get some extra cash, I'm gonna get a Slim Jim in his name.

Wrestling Icon 'Macho Man' Randy Savage Dies in Florida Car Accident {PopEater}
May 20th 2011 1:21PM Smeg!! Yet ANOTHER respected famous actor / wrestler gone. I'm not really a wrestling fan, but I used to watch some of the Hulk Hogan / Roddy Piper-era WWF stuff.
My wrestling fan friend's gonna be bummed today. (Sigh)
R.I.P. Randy.
Roy Orbison's Widow Recalls His Love of Music, Style and Film on His 75th Birthday {Spinner}
Apr 23rd 2011 12:05PM I like Pretty Woman. Never seen the movie, though.
The first time I ever even heard of Roy Orbison was a reference in the box office flop, but one of my favorite movies, Grease 2.
Goose McKenzie: (To Nogarelli, RE. prize LP records) Remember; I want the Roy Orbisons.
Nogarelli: You'll get 'em.
Good Friday: Origins, Observances And Fasting Rules {Holidash News}
Apr 21st 2011 1:01PM I try to respect people's religious beliefs... unless they try to convert me. Then I don't care, and I shrug it off nonchalantly. The last person who tried to convert me bended my ear about Jesus and God (whom I was already aware of and respected in my own way), and how I was supposed to follow. Then, later, he got arrested for shoplifting Dungeons and Dragons books from the game store at the mall.
As for God Friday, the only time I ever had a problem with it was back in '93. I was in my apartment, and I had just broiled a rack of beef ribs for lunch and dinner. That's all I had in my apartment for food, meat. THEN my mom called, and told me it was Good Friday, and I was forbidden to eat what I'd just made. I had to go hungry that day because I was supposed to follow her beliefs. I'm not really that religious, so I don't really take all of it seriously, but I suffered through it out of obligation. I guess if I'd been warned that Good Friday was coming up, I could have prepared, but It was sprung on me, and it felt like I was being punished.
If You Don't Have Kids, Can You Give Parents Advice? {ParentDish}
Feb 27th 2010 7:28PM In some cases, I may have to give the odd bit of child advice because unfortuantely I work at a thrift store where parents release their kids into the toy section (which the kids trash and thrash), just so they can shop in peace. I have to tell these "parents" that they need to keep their kids in control. Naturally, they freak.
So, if they ditch their kids in that section, and the kid gets hurt, absolutely the parents will blame us.
Man Faces Lots o' Jail Time for Using Wrong Door {Asylum}
Jan 21st 2010 12:49AM I can understand the mistake, especially if he couldn't read English, or at all. Having done time as a Security Guard (which I'm ashamed of), sadly a lot of airline passengers are just plain stupid, because (IMO) they believe that their ticket gives them godlike powers, due to the idiotic "rule" `Customers Are Always Right'. RIIIIIIGHT...
As for the man, if he's innocent of any real wrongdoing (other than not being too bright), I hope he gets off with a warning. 7 years for a misunderstanding it way too much. IMO, the FAA has too much power and needs to be abolished.
'Family Ties' Star Brian Bonsall Arrested for Bar Stool Assault {PopEater}
Dec 7th 2009 10:33PM Sadly, these days, that what happens to a lot of the unlucky child stars. I remember Brian from Family Ties, but more often as Alexander Rozhenko, Son of Worf, from his appearances in Star Trek: The Next Generation. Hope he straightens up.
Cheap Zune - 5 Daily Deals {Shopping Articles Blog}
Mar 29th 2009 8:48PM I'm cheap, so I go for the bargains... like a Coby MP300-4G [4GB] found at Big Lots for $20.00. I don't care about watching videos on the move. Someday, maybe. This is the absolute best MP3 player I've ever had. Okay, my 1gb Odys MP3 player had a line-in recorder, but my new Coby beats it out. My 4gb Coby has menu functions, you can change the backlight color, a very simple and straightforward USB plug-in, selection buttons, and it works with Windows 98SE, which my seconday laptop uses.
If you want easy to use, strightforward MP3 music playing, the Coby MP300-4G [4GB] is a great bargain at just $20.00 at Big Lots.
