Dec 5th 2012 12:59AM I flew cargo/passenger missions in the USAF in the 50's/60's. Our ground crews would run a very strong disinfectant mist through the vent system just prior to each flight. I have no idea what the stuff was, but it had a very pleasant smell. We seldom had any respiratory problems.

Jan 29th 2008 12:37AM It should not be about race or gender. It should be about experience, courage, and intelligence. Sen. Obama has very little of any of these qualities. Old-timer politicians like Ted Kennedy endorse Obama because of his inexperience.They think he will be easier to manipulate than the other candidates, and they are right.
Try this. Never vote based on a candidate's ability to speak eloquently; that's how they attain high office in a short while. Analyze their record of work ethic, integrity, and ability to connect with common people.
There are some on both sides of the aisle who could meet these standards, but sadly, they aren't running.
In this year's election, about the best we can do is choose the lesser of evils and then hold their nose to the wheel.
Remember, who is president is less important than wo is in congress.
