Apr 10th 2008 1:44PM I actually find the story incredibly inspiring. I am shocked at how many typos I see on a daily basis (especially when plural/possessive "ess" is involved) and can't believe that the sign maker didn't proofread it first.

Mar 11th 2008 5:46PM Husband is also AA Exec Plat as well, it's golden handcuffs: we have a few free international upgrades with them, but have to only fly on AA-operated planes to their destinations (no code shares), which is somewhat limiting. I'm going to try for AA Platinum myself this year, as the upgrades are worth it but in other ways, I want to be free to fly whatever airline I want! Loyalty pays.

Jan 28th 2008 1:08PM I totally agree that gate hoverers are the worst, but I disagree on who the perpetrators are. Those Blackberrying business travelers are often frequent flyers and will be boarding early. What drives me most insane are the non-frequent travelers in Group 6 that hover right at the gate before they even announce pre-boarding. If the TSA wants to do something really useful, they'd make it illegal to crowd the gate before your group is called.
