Fatter Passengers Mean Change in Boat Rules {AOL Travel News}

Apr 6th 2011 8:51AM AMERICA THE BEAUTIFUL, LAND OF THE FREE. What a joke! No one is free from cruel criticism. We have become the land of gossip and intolerance, and it is obvious by the increase in students being bullied in school or adults being subject to insensitive disrespectful remarks. It used to be the French that were traditionally considered abrupt with the world, but we are worse, we do it to our own.

Who Must File a Tax Return? {WalletPop}

Dec 28th 2010 12:21PM Illegal aliens are supposed to pay taxes too.
1. They pay the 7% tax with every purchase.
2. I'm sure their landlords consider the cost of property tax when they figure their rent.
3. The IRS provides people without a Social Security number a tax number to file income taxes.
Some of them know about obtaining the tax number, some don't. If they have intentions of becoming legal they have to show they've paid taxes.

Shocker -- Survey Finds Mothers-in-Law Very Unpopular With Wives {Lemondrop}

Oct 18th 2010 7:21PM I had a good mother in law, she showed me even after her son and I divorced that she was a sincere and trustworthy friend. Now that I am a mother in law I want to be thought of in the same way. I think the secret is to be the visiting mother and grandmother and to let her be the wife. You rule in your house and she rules in their house. Offer to help, but don't be pushy or get mad if they want to do things on their own.

Southwest Boots Thin Flier for Overweight Teen {AOL Travel News}

Jul 26th 2010 11:30PM She was a skinny adult, the other person was a fat child. They should have sat him on her lap and skwoosh her until she shut up. What a stupid story and what a deceiving title!

Bristol Palin Getting Married ... To Levi Johnston! {PopEater}

Jul 14th 2010 11:06AM Oh, for God's sakes, let them be! Years from now few will remember this when Bristol Palin follows her mom's footsteps and runs for a republican post.

The new Coke mini: Pay more, get less {WalletPop}

Jan 31st 2010 11:43AM You are not wasting the product, but you are wasting money. Why not share a 12 oz can of coke? Why not spend $1.00 on a pack of 4 can lids that will keep your extra coke fresh? (Yep, from the dollar store!)

Travel to Cuba legally with New York art museum package {Gadling}

Sep 13th 2009 4:51PM I've read a few times, "Remember the whole world isn't America..." ----- Let me remind you, with all respect, that Cuba, as well as Mexico, Colombia and many others ARE AMERICA. The continent expands from Canada to Chile and Argentina and it includes the Antilles. America is not limited to the USA.

Attention Wal-Mart shoppers: Electric cars marked down on aisle 6 {Autoblog Green}

Feb 11th 2009 9:01PM Brandon writes "Really, a car designed in China, built in Mexico, and sold at Walmart?!"

------------------ And I bet you they have a 1-800-service line that is outsourced to India, where our American English is not understood. I guess we'll be back to singing " I have a brand new pair or roller skates, you have a brand new key ..."

Thanksgiving Episodes Quiz {Inside TV Blog}

Nov 27th 2008 9:36AM This is one good case when you can tell a guy: "... But none of your children look like you! Not even your own!"

Holiday Ads Put the Humbug Back in Public Transit {Holidash News}

Nov 26th 2008 4:47PM I believe in not keeping people from believing or praying, if that is what they chose to do. And I also believe in leaving alone those who chose not to believe or pray. We cannot force people to think like we do. Isn't this is the country of "free speech" and "free thinking?"

"Do as you wish and harm no one" -- that's my rede!
