Self-checkout machines cause 'stage fright' in shoppers {Daily Finance}

Nov 3rd 2009 11:02AM Handling groceries is one of the least efficient things that someone does. In the cart, put them on the belt, bag them, take them out to the car, take them out of the car and then put them away. Forgive me, if I rather have someone check them out for me. I would also like to see baggers return. Let us make our own stimulus program and hire people to do these things. And what about pumping your own gas?

Pack your can opener! Airlines squeezing in more seats {WalletPop}

Jun 4th 2009 11:57PM My husband and I are driving to Alaska to visit our daughter for the second time because we simply can't tolerate Delta(Northwest) cramped seating. With the security, fees for luggage, cattle call seating, we just won't fly unless we absolutely have to. Even if we have to spend a few dollars on motels we are not at the mercy of some arrogant, rude airline. We don't have to buy insurance, we take our own breaks, and we get there on time!

Aisle theater seats may cost more money {Gadling}

Jan 6th 2009 11:14PM Right on. I avoid flying when ever possible because of them charging more for different seats.

What's the dirtiest hotel in the U.S.? It has company {Gadling}

Jan 25th 2008 8:33PM I have stayed at several Days Inns and I will never, ever stay in one again. There was one north on Mpls. that had water on the floor from the air conditioning unit with the accompanying mold. The window was so dirty you could not see out of it. Nasty!
