May 30th 2009 8:28PM As a long time horse owner I have to chime in just as I did several months ago when AOL ran this same story.
This woman is not in need of a seeing eye anything. She can see fine. If she can see well enough to take a 900-1100 pound animal safely into traffic IT IS NOT TAKING HER! then she can see well enough to haul her lazy attention seeking butt into Target herself. She is working for attention. She has no grooming skills, she cannot properly care for horse ie see hooves, she cant take or mount a horse correctly. You do not gallop a horse down main street and you don't rodeo while around traffic. She is ignorant and I know of no service animals for ignorant people.
Aol effed up by even running with this story. I am appalled that she is allowed to call it a service animal. This animal unlike a dog will leave her lazy ass on the street if it gets spooked. IF something in store spooks it she will be bleeding on the floor while the horse by instinct seeks escape and will go over and through anything to get to that safe spot. This is a joke played on America. This is a joke played on our government. She is crazy but not more than those who let her claim it is a seeing eye animal.
By the way I have a dead broke 2100 pound Percheron...should my legally blind daughter get to take him to wal mart? how about a theater?

Fake. example..Valerie Bertinelli tries to make me believe that she gained all that weight lost it gained it kept it and then lost it and now thanks to nutri system she has no flab, no bat wings, not 1 stretch mark? This jenna is just as fake. I too had to laugh about her "push" numbers. She was naturally dialated to nine before she was even pregnant. It is all a joke. Look at Cindy Crawford in her caught in a bikini photo and then go to allure magazine and the body in the mag is NOT the one we see out in real world and her article was all on being who you are, growing old gracefully etc etc. It was so fake. They are ALL liars. We as women are sucked into a vortex by this bullshit and end up with the mindset if I don't look like this after twins, after forty, etc etc then I am less than perfect. I think it is all hype and maybe AOL should take the step to quit promoting this crap and give us real people stories. Show us women who are okay being themselves. Her 500 sit ups a day? Please...if ANYONE believes that I have a bridge to sell you.

How can Mexico even bitch about it when all their people want to do is come to the US and live in harmony with us. I guess BK could have made the Mexico burger and show Juanita in the basement of the Alamo making the tortilla buns for it while her husband Juan slaughtered the family cow to prepare the meat.
They come over here suck our money away like Hispanic leeches, crap in the good ol USA's cornflakes then get pissed because a burger place makes an ad showing these two in harmony? WTF? Have the never been short Mexican wrestlers? And where was the outrage several years back when the friggen Mexicans flew our flag disrespectfully at a school? Where are they when the Mexicans spit on our flag, our people etc while holding out their hands for us to feed, house, clothe, educate IN SPANISH no less, take care of them medically etc? Apr 9th 2009 8:43AM How in the hell can this offend anyone with a television? I turned 45 yesterday and def not a prude but I have not seen anything worthwhile and not garbage on TV for years. The crap has been overflowing onto our viewing plates and we just hold them up and say please sir can I have some more? They are on because everyone accepts it. Who will do anything? No one. They will get worse and worse and worse because there is no one with a frigging backbone who will write letters, make calls, take it to the streets, ACTUALLY stay away from these places etc. Everyone here who has the balls to bitch on aol should get off their butts and go global. Go to the higher ups. Get into the lives of every ad exec, TV CEO, station affiliate etc quite using aol to whine and complain. We have let media become what is is and we are the only ones who can stop it and to be honest if there wasn't a market for this kind of crap there wouldnt be this kind of crap. So if your really honestly pissed DO SOMETHING BIG!

Apr 3rd 2009 9:53AM I am a female and while in my financial state I have to say that yes I would "ponder" sleeping with Hef for money but then I look at big picture and cannot see him being disease free with all the wick dipping that man has done and knowing that those he has had sex with have had more than 5 or 6 partners. So I choose to be poor and disease free. Why take a chance? On a bigger note I have self worth and self esteem so wouldn't do it anyway. I don't think I would feel good with the world looking at me and knowing I sleep around for fame and money. That is just creepy. As a mom I would be mortified and let down if those were my daughters were in that pic. I would seriously question my parenting choices. How do you have a sit down dinner with your daughters knowing they show the world everything they have and flaunt they tag team with each other with an old man such as hef. Just seems creepy.

Who seriously needs to make 10 million a year? What do you spend it on? I would like to make 20,000 a year.
I operate a small town motel and would love some rich folks to spread their wealth around right here in the good old usa and let the other countries support their own until this recession crap is over and done with.
Are we the only country that takes in all the other countries and supports them and then feel guilty that we have to go over there and spend more? WTF?!
We as a nation deserve to be where we are. We are the ones paying the stars salaries. We are paying for sports stars to make more in one day that we will make in 5 years. I say keep our money in our friggen pockets and quit buying and supporting things that only make the rich richer.

The general black population (and please note I am saying general and not all) only know how to play the race card in all aspects of life. This is all they know this is all they have been taught. Even our president cannot be just our president, just a great man...he has to carry labels of black man in charge, first black president etc. There will be no end to this until the blacks who continue throwing the labels around CHOOSE to lay it down and move ahead. You cannot have a world that comes together until EVERYONE quits whining about what color someones skin is including the color bearer. You should be happy there is a black princess. How about the not so pretty girls who would love the idea of having a not so pretty princess? One who wasn't a "perfect 10" No one will ever be truly happy. No one will ever be fully content. Mar 10th 2009 6:35PM I have been collecting fast food kids meal toys since 1983. I have hundreds. Favorite is the "Wiener Saber" from Der Wienerschnitzel. It looks like a huge human wiener. OMG All my toys are wrapped in rubbermaid containers. I also collected " food mascot" beanies. I recently checked ebay out and the market isnt really all that great. Nothing spectacular. Some toys from the 80's are selling for 50 cents. Oh well someday I shall sell.
Bratz Belt Too Suggestive? {ParentDish}
Mar 2nd 2009 9:26AM Are you all serious? Have you not walked the toy aisle lately? Barbie is more slutty than the Bratz ever could be. They wear shorter, more opaque, sluttier shoes than you will ever find with Bratz.
Bratz were geared to be more "street wear" like what the kids are actually wearing in the real world. Look ate the fashions that have been around and are still in stores. Barbie has yet to do that. They design their own based on what "they" like not what is really out there and I can tell you it is pretty racy for the most part.
My now 13 y/o once had every single Bratz doll and all the cars etc. Why? because she liked them just as my older daughter was into barbies. MY older girls all said they wish Bratz had been in existence when they were little.
Are any of my girls hooch's? No Are any street walkers? no. They are all good kids, parents etc and my granddaughter has all the Bratz my youngest passed on and I do not have a whore for a 4 y/o granddaughter. Just like I didn't with my older girls and the Barbies.
You who bitch and moan need to open your eyes and get out of your doll shell. Unless you make it a sexual item your child will not see it as that. I never had my youngest say she was going to be a streetwalker just like a Bratz doll just as my others didn't choose their life path because of Barbie. She never let her Bratz guys do anything sexual because she doesn't live that way, see adult world at home etc. Her Bratz dates consist of going to the bran, grooming horses, tacking up and going riding or they go to horse shows etc. Even when all the girls from her barn got together they didn't play the "oh I'm so sexual" game of dolls. They played like they would in real life. Did she wish to dress like the Bratz? yes and she did with so many of her outfits. Her denim jacket with pink fur collar and black to the knee flat boots were "da bomb" She has always been stylie and her style of dress was often copied by the kids at school because it was kewl.
For those of you wanting to burn Bratz at the stake...Did you know schoolteacher Barbie from the nineties was made without panties? She even had a mini dress on. There are six barbies on the shelf right now that show more than any Bratz doll ever has and would actually be kicked off campus for wearing what they are. (if they were really worn in real life school) They are wearing things that look cheezy and sleazy all at the same time. OPEN YOUR EYES to the whole pic. Do not just pic and choose. Just because you think if it has a Barbie item it has to be wholesome and good it is. That is untrue. Look at the barbie ailse and look at the Bratz. Big dif.
At least Bratz didnt try to convince my daughter that you have to have the perfect body, could be a toothfairy, could be a fairy princess etc. Bratz are "real life" for the most part. Bratz let my daughter play like she would at school etc since when does a teenager go about the mall wearing a pink tulle dress and wear a crown and carry a wand? (well besides those with odd tendencies) Wake up and grow up.
My daughter never once played with her Bratz dolls in a provocative way. Because she wasn't raised that way. It is how we teach our kids and I highly doubt this child in above article ever even noticed "enter" and without parental guidance they would never link "enter" to a penis entering or as an invitation to. Just a mom with issues.
and since we are attacking Bratz why has no one criticized GI Joes and 99% of the male dolls of any kind for having the "penis grabbing" hand? That looks more adult and perverse than any Bratz doll could ever look.Yeah yeah I know its posed that way so they can hold their tool and their gun....on that note I I rest my case.
Breastfeeding - How Long is Too Long? {ParentDish}
Mar 2nd 2009 8:47AM It is the moms right to breast feed as long as she feels the need. However I do not think it is something to be put "out there" for everyone to see. It is a private issue of sorts. If I wanted to see womens breasts while walking the mall I would carry Playboy and peruse the pages as I walk. Same with a restaurant etc. I breastfed and could do so discreetly, why cant others? Maybe because they are the ones who get something more out of it. who knows.
As for Steve's statement about people seeing them as sex objects...It is men who mainly carry this torch. Have you not seen Sports Illustrated? Have you not see the travel channel? Have you not seen the majority of computer pictures etc? boobs, boobs boobs! Breasts are natural yes but they have been made out to be a sex toy, a chestful of eye candy, they have been made the primary focus of women in media, women in life. Sad part is women let it happen...go figure.
As for breastfeeding making kids smarter...bullsnot. My daughter who was never breastfed is actually smarter than the three who did. I only breast fed for 6 months but all are very very healthy, all active in sports, healthy teeth etc. All are smarter than average etc. So no breastfeeding does not mean smarter, healthier etc. As for a bond? We have a phenomenal bond and it didn't come from them latching on a nip. It came from being told they were loved, held, read to, played with, talked to, made to feel like they were a someone. Had nothing to do with sucking. It had to do with my heart and what I felt and still feel for them.
I feel it is an insult to women who choose not to breastfeed to say their children are not as healthy, smart, active, loved etc, Having a baby latched on to your breast does not ever make you a better parent.
