Dec 24th 2011 3:09PM When my girlfriend (now my wife) lived in a gated community she was in the USAF and traveled often. a rep from the HOA said he needed a key so he could check on things when she was gone. He was always nosing around etc. She told him no but he kept asking and seemed to be always watching. When we married I moved in and the guy kept wanting a key etc. I told him if I caught him in our place I would shoot him and to mind his own business. He never came around again. After we moved he was caught trespassing and peeping on people. All too often jerks use the HOA as a lever to gain access or to pry. We will never live where they have one.

Nov 14th 2011 9:39PM A gimbel allows a container to remain with a part vertical while the base is moving like a ship in rough seas. Another system suspends an object (like a lantern or object that needs to stay upright or not spill contents). This one only deals with one form of movement, not those constantly varying. Still it is a nice try and quite simple so if its works, hooray for the inventor.

I don't think strippers are very sexy either - but I enjoy looking at beautiful female bodies and have done so since I was in my teens. As for this school, sounds like sophomoric females trying to impress sophmoric males. Oh well, lots of folks need jobs!

Don't buy what they advertise. I own a TV with a channel selector and an on-off switch. Use the ones on your TV. Just give it a break and shut up. All you are doing it firing up each other becasue the rest of us don't give a rat's ass.
Kids Eating More and More Meals Away From Home {ParentDish}
Jul 27th 2011 10:02PM When I worked in DC my oldest son still lived with me. We seemed to always have some of his buddies in the apartment when I got home and they would eat with us. I worked in the Pentagon and had long hours but made stuff he could heat and eat if I was late plus he could make the salad and other side dishes. Once I asked about one boy who was there almost every day - my son said we were the only family that ate dinners at home - all his buddies ate out because both parents worked and were never home. We are not obese.

Jul 16th 2011 9:22PM Saw some that lasted for days in the SW during the mid-50s. Wind would stop and you could not see a block away at noon. Then I saw a few really nasty ones in the MidEast. The one in AZ was nasty but at least it was windy and did not last long. The things can really mess up people with breathing problems! When really bad its like dense fog only it inhibits breathing, causes equipment to overheat and filters to clog up. As Dale said, blowing sand can scour the paint off a car and it can really pit your windshield even if the car is parked. Best bet is to get far off the road - beyond the shoulder if possible and wait for it to improve.

Too bad hysterical people cannot be calm and just help the cops instead of doing all they can to be the center of attraction regardless - and what is worse, the cop was trying to keep her safe! Does not say much for her brains. Better to let her got to Spain and not let her back in!

May 25th 2011 4:29PM Good, now maybe they will give the other people on the show bigger parts. I enjoy the show the most when they let the other guys shine more. Meloni and Hargity get too much exposure and the show suffers as a result.
