Aug 18th 2012 11:43AM If you really want to see "garbage for food", go to China. I was just there for 3 months. They basically eat all the things that we throw away. The most startling was gristle - they actually eat gristle. Some other favs are fat chunks, skin and entrails of any kind and the stalks from all the vegetables instead of the vegetable itself. Good for the dieting, however, as I often wasn’t “hungry”. You really have to hunt for decent protein. However, you don’t see a lot of obesity.

Nov 30th 2011 1:40AM That's the way it goes when U work for free enterprise and have to make a profit. And apparently the airlines aren't making a whole lot of that. Only the government can afford to overpay their employees because all they have to do is go back and steal more from the public trough. As long as this continues, our economy will continue to fade intro the sunset.

Most of us in general are past this; who's black, who's white, etc. I guess those who are lacking in self confidence, self esteem, etc, have to keep bringing it up. It just perpetuates the whole problem by continued harping on the subject. But I guess that keeps the pressure on to keep the quota system going and other such "politically correct" BS.

But sometimes I wonder if Jagger picked Ron Wood and Keith Richards because they made even him look good. Richards looks like death warmed over. What is he anyway, 120 ? But then all of them have been in the “fast lane” for a couple of lifetimes, so I guess that will take its toll.

Jan 6th 2011 1:01AM That attitude shows alot of selfishness to me. Not liking babies because they aren't predictable and don't fit your "schedule" reeks of self-centeredness. That is part of the charm of a baby. They are somewhat helpless and totally at your mercy. Anyone who doesn't appreciate that would appear to be lacking in basic maternal instinct.
