Looking For New Cookware? {AOL Hot Searches}

Mar 17th 2009 8:07AM Can't AOL do SOMETHING to prohibit these BS advertising schemes pretending to be blog comments on these boards?

Another 'Extreme Makeover' home fails...and is the Fantasia Foreclosure tour next? {WalletPop}

Dec 12th 2008 5:24AM Didn't any of you people wonder why in the world this family had to pay so much money for their disabled child's medical bills and did not have health insurance or eligibility for aid for his medical care? The real tragedy here is that the republican reign of terror removed the safety nets for families with medical tragedies and refuses to pass the s-chip bill. This is happening to families all over this nation which is the only developed nation in the Western Hemisphere that does not provide health care for it's citizens and prefers to bankrupt families and put them out of their homes rather than to provide quality care for all. Shame on America. And shame on all you financial wizards who missed this part of the story.

Hack your local subway {Gadling}

Aug 14th 2008 9:40AM Brian Is a Moron - the point is not to stop the students to whom you refer as "nerds", Moron, it is to stop criminals and terrorists who might use the security breaches they discovered to kill you and other morons who don't get it.

Groups: Come Clean About Bundlers {Politics Daily}

Jun 26th 2008 9:04AM I will be happy to explain why Obama is ahead by double digits in the real polls and yet 8% behind McBush in the fake AOL poll(s). The reason is that AOL is a right wing corporation who benefits from the tax cuts and policies of the Bush reign of terror. As such, every story you read here, every blog you participate in here, every poll you vote in here is framed to benefit the right wing. You sheeple on the right wallow in the bias, just as you wallow in Faux News daily. DUH.

Obama's Magic Number Could Go Up {Politics Daily}

May 29th 2008 11:57AM I keep reading so many erroneous statements about the process and the punishments in this matter. The author of the article states that "Candidates agreed not to campaign or raise money in the two states and most took their names off of the ballots there. But Sen. Clinton kept her name on the ballot in both states and Sen. Obama appeared on the ballot in Florida." No candidate's name was ever removed from the ballot in Florida, nor was it requested to be removed. The pledge did not contain a promise to remove any names. The bloggers who state that the pledge was part of the DNC rules are incorrect and inflamatory. The pledge was separate and distinct from the rules. The DNC Rules & Bylaws committee are the people who broke rules when they penalized Florida beyond the scope of what they were allowed to take - 50% of the elected portion of the delegates, and NO superdelegates. The supposed violation hurt NOBODY - the 4 early states still went before Florida and Florida voters were subject to Republican lawmaker's option of one date on which to vote. Please get your facts straight before impugning the rights of the 1.75 Million record breaking Democrats who came out to vote in this important historical election.

Warrick Dunn Doesn't Want You to Forget That Bobby Petrino Is a Coward {Fanhouse NFL Blog}

Mar 16th 2008 9:01AM Warrick Dunn is a wonderful gentleman and has lived an exemplary life as such, not as a "thug" or a "wimp". I don't know anything about this controversy but I do know Warrick and these remarks are simply uncalled for. If he says anything, you can take it to the bank. There is no one person who has been more generous, sensitive, and kind to others than this man. So if you do not know him, do not be so ignorant as to criticize and call names.

Lynne Cheney: Wyoming Senator? {AOL Elections Blog}

Jun 11th 2007 2:27PM Wake up Democrats! This is an opportunity for the Democratic Governor to appoint a Democrat to this seat under what remains of our US Constitution: "When vacancies happen in the representation of any State in the Senate, the executive authority of such State shall issue writs of election to fill such vacancies: Provided, That the legislature of any State may empower the executive thereof to make temporary appointments until the people fill the vacancies by election as the legislature may direct." Please help by sending letters of appeal to Wyoming Governor, Dave Freudenthal, urging him to cancel out the threats of turncoat Joe LIEberman, and give us the majority in reality by appointing a decent, upstanding Democrat to represent his constituency. Let's end the throathold of rich GOPs on the citizens of Wyoming who (in their infinite wisdom) voted for a Democratic "Decider".

Rosie Quits The View; Caroline Rhea Has Cell Phone on Loud and Vibrate {This Just In}

Apr 28th 2007 8:18AM Rosie was the best thing that ever happened to the View. Like so many others, I will never watch it again once she leaves - she was the voice of real America and the simulated "controversy" over every word she uttered was just that - simulated. The real controversy should by why they ever gave voice to that (or any other) deluded Republican shill Elizabeth. Rosie, you can do better.
