From another carrier that like the others tries to justify bad service/no service and excessive fees while still promising outrageous bonuses and dividends to its officers and shareholders...

It is NOT just about exercise and play. Gym and Physical Education classes at school are about a childs' learning about fairnes and team effort. About compromise and social interaction in a physical/active environ as well as much about t heir own bodies and abilities. And so much more...
I loved PE in school all the way from grades K through 12 and was aware of the benefits all the while and that BECAUSE my parents did do their jobs and see toit that the place where the law mandated that I be for 6 to 9 hours per day was doing their job for me.
Those who hated PE and did all they could skip or avoid it were usually the lazy and/or spoiled ignorant ones who thought their popularity and parents LACK of teaching them character sould get them off in most any situation they disliked.
It is so sad to see and know that we still have such parents and their children among us and the schoold today.
