TSA To Permit Pocket Knives And Golf Clubs On Planes (But Still Not Liquids) {Gadling}
Mar 5th 2013 5:23PM Gary, my man, next time you fly anyplace look closely at the cost of your ticket, believe me you are paying plenty, all the additionl fees and look at the fees and what they pay for, additionally, the airlines pay through the nose for "Gates", every taxi, every bus pays to go on the airport property. Airports are making a ton of money, airlines go bankrupt, when is the las time you heard of an airport loosing money, believe me they don't, you and every user pays for everything, the pretty flowers, water beds and plants, your paying and every othe flyer is paying, if your flight has a stop, that is called a segment, you may double, don't believe me, check your ticket stub my friend. Subsidize RR is ok, well then perhaps they can subsidize my mortgage, or my kids tution, how about college loan payments, they can subsidize that as well. The gov gets the money to do all this subsidizing from one sourse, you and me and everyone else. By defintion, Gary, the government can't do anything effectively or efficiently, the post office, the rr, medicare, social security, everything looses money yet Fed Ex, UPS, Union Pacific, etc all make money, They my friend are effective and efficient, they are private, hell they even pay dividends. The government on the other hand is simply sad and pathetic.
TSA To Permit Pocket Knives And Golf Clubs On Planes (But Still Not Liquids) {Gadling}
Mar 5th 2013 3:41PM The TSA is a reflection of the Federal Government, simply stated Pathetic. Is there anything the Fed Gov does in an effective and efficient manner. Nothing, TSA, Amtrack, is a shining example, since the gov took over RR service, they have cut service, some of the largest cities in the US are not serviced by train, example Houston, Tx. If you take a train from Miami FLa to Chicago Ill, you must go through Washington DC. You could walk to Chicago faster and of course it looses a ton of money, ever year they go back to Congress to more and more money, why should they try to improve, they just go to Congress and demand more and they get it. Who else would spend a ton of money on trains capable of going 150 mph and run on a restricted roadbed where the top speed permitted is 60mph or there about. They brag how fast the train is capable of running, how utterly sad and pathetic. Now they want to build a line from the Mahovie Dessert to Las Vegas, tracks are already in place from LA to Vegas, can't use them, might hurt a dessert insect. So we will spend millions more. How sad, how sad, ah what does th govenment care, they need more money, just raise taxes. Pathetic!
The Mortgage Fix That Can Save the Economy {AOL Real Estate}
Aug 29th 2011 12:57PM Why don't we just totally vacate all the mortgages, everyone should own their own home free and clear. That will teach the big bad banks a lesson. Of course, we should eliminate real estate tax as well, it is such a burden, might as well throw in free home owners insurance. That is a wonderful idea. Pity the poor idiots who dilegently pay their mortgages, those fools, what are they trying to prove, they are better than us. Power to the people I say. Hang in there comrads, One more thing, no one should have to work more than 2 days a week, we should all get a check from the govenment, that way we will achieve utopia and we will all be equal. What a wonderful idea, the government can keep printing money and we will all be happy. Power to the masses Yes/
Chad Ochocinco Fined at 20,000:1 Ratio {Fanhouse NFL Blog}
Nov 13th 2009 6:38PM Roger Godell is a sad, pitiful and pathetic figure. It is truly tragic that an otherwise bright, well educated man is guided by political correctness. How utterly pathetic, it was a joke, no one took it seriously no one except poor politically correct Roger. Political correctness hurt us badly at Ft Hood, Political correctness will hurt the NFL if the Commissioner doesn't lighten up and learn to laugh at ourself once and a while. What a pity!
Star Syracuse WR Williams Quits Team {Fanhouse NCAA Football Blog}
Nov 2nd 2009 7:32PM So much for developing leadership skills, maturity and discipline. I don't know who is worse for the experience, this fool who used to play football or the recruiting program at a one time football power in the east.
Charlie Gibson Says So Long to 'News' {PopEater}
Sep 2nd 2009 2:57PM You just don't get it, network news is a thing of the past. There is nothing as old as old news, with 24/7 news on other outlets, the networks are like the best buggy wip maker who survived all competition. In the end, there was no need for buggy wips and so it is with network news. Your old and gray and useless. If you could bring back Walter C, Huntley and Brinkly. Edward R Murrow and even Eric S. it would not change a thing. Frankly, your yesterday's news and the sad part is you can't see it!
Two Decades Enough to Forgive Rose {Fanhouse MLB Blog}
Sep 1st 2009 1:39AM Rose? What aboout Joe Jackson, compare the two cases they are not even close, Jackson shined in the 1919 Series, yet due to ignorance he got cought up in the investigation, thought he never breached his responsibility as a professional. Rose, he is another case, a very sad case, yes he certainly belongs in the Hall of Fame, but, and unfortinately it is a most compelling but, he was warned everytime he walked into a baseball clubhouse at any level in any city and he in the end put himself ahead of the game. No, and it hurts, but no, he should not be in the Hall. Crying about what goes on today with drugs et al, doesn't change the fact that Rose committed the Cardinal Sin of the game. That will never change!!!!! And yes, as indicated above it hurts and it is a terrible shame, perhaps others can learn from this tragic event.
$250 checks sent to seniors on Thursday {WalletPop}
May 8th 2009 7:56PM The dirty little secret which is not much of a secret is many seniors frankly don't need the $250. It won't change their lives one iota, yet the government knonws best so they send us all 250 without any test of resourses. Again a total waiste, but hell I will take it, maby I can run it into a few thousand at a crap game in Vegas, if not, who cares it was not my money in the first place and afterall I am providing work for the dealers. Only the govenment would pull such a silly move, how pityful, how sad, how pathetic
Dick Vitale is Targeting Duke-UNC Game for Return to Broadcasting {Fanhouse NCAA Football Blog}
Jan 14th 2008 2:27PM I am glad he is doing well and wish him the best, that being said, perhaps the original "homer" should consider something else. He never met a basketball player who was not the second coming, never met a basketball coach who ever made a mistake and always found some guy who could play ball nothwithstanding his tough life. Dick, if your going to stick around, try being somewhat more objective in your commentary or give it up. Frankly, after a while you are so predictable thus a zero as a professional!
