Jan 25th 2012 12:33PM I think HOA's should be disbanded. They accomplish NOTHING but aggravating homeowners. I used to live under a HOA regime and all they did was collect their fees, but when you would ask them to do something, like enforce noise nuisance, they don't follow up. One of my neighbors was bothered by a dog barking in the middle of the night every night (dog's owner worked nights, so I understand the dog was lonely). When my neighbor complained to HOA, they told him to talk to the dog's owner and if all else fails, to move.

Apr 11th 2011 4:34PM I've always gotten FREE meals on Hawaiian Airlines on roundtrips from the Mainland to Honolulu. When we've flown First Class, we were given a choice of 3 entrees out of 6. In Coach, there was always a choice of 2 items, either a turkey and swiss sandwich or a hot entree, usually a pasta meal. There are pemium meals, however, that is your choice IF you want to pay for them and you are aware of the price and item BEFORE you order.
Hawaiian Airlines has the friendliest flight attendants, who greet you and treat you with the Aloha spirit that makes me want to keep returning. Even in Coach, the seats are comfortable because of the 767 fleet they use, my husband and I get to sit aisle and seat, unlike other airlines sitting 3 across. First Class service is the greatest (compared with the crummy First Class of Delta).
I absolutely LOVE Hawaiian Airlines and my only regret is that they don't fly from one mainland city to another.

Apr 14th 2010 12:45PM I absolutely LOVE Hawaiian Airlines; we fly Hawaiian at least once a year from Las Vegas to Honolulu. The flight attendants are the nicest airline personnel you could ever meet, whether you are in First Class or coach. (American and Delta should send their personnel to Hawaiian for training). We did have one problem, with a flight delay of 7 frustrating hours, but Hawaiian provided us with lunch vouchers as well as $100 future travel vouchers for the inconvenience. Hawaiian is one of the few airlines who still serve real food, free of charge, even in coach. The First Class cabin meals were wonderful, you always had the ability to choose three dishes out of 5 that were offered. In coach, you had a choice of a sandwich or a hot meal. Hawaiian is very much deserving of that number 1 spot. My only regret is that they don't fly from one mainland city to another.

Apr 13th 2010 3:45PM I LOVE Hawaiian Airlines, although the flight from Las Vegas that we usually take to Honolulu has been delayed by 7 hours more than a few times. Sure we are given a lunch voucher for the airport, but since Hawaiian flies out of Terminal 2, there is no choice except for Burger King and Pizza Hut, and by the 7 hour delayed hour, we were given $100 vouchers for future travel, but it is frustrating when you just want to get to paradise and you're sitting in the Las Vegas airport. That being said, service on Hawaiian is the best. We've flown both first class and coach and the flight attendents couldn't be nicer. The spirit of Aloha is evident from the time you step foot on the plane. Hawaiian is one of the few airlines who still serves a hot meal free of charge, even in coach and the food, considering it is airline food, is very good. The flight attendants are constantly coming down the aisle to offer sodas, water or juice. My only regret is that Hawaiian Airlines does not service other mainland airports.
It's not a surprise that they are number 1.

Mar 19th 2010 4:30PM Anytime I fly Delta, I have my miles transferred to my Hawaiian Air miles account.
Hawaiian is the best airline in business and in my opinion, they have the best frequent flyer miles program. For 115,000 miles, we got two roundtrips to Hawaii with the outbound trip in first class, return in coach. My cash cost for these rountrips was $10! Not to mention the excellent service The personnel both on the ground and the flight crew are the nicest, most pleasant that anyone would ever want to meet. I only wish that Hawaiian Airlines flew to mainland cities.

5 Questions With: Conan O'Brien {Inside TV Blog}
May 29th 2009 7:35PM I watched Conan once, that was enough for me to switch to Craig Ferguson, who is the funniest late night host, in my opinion. I'm so glad that the Colbert Report is on at the same time as Conan will be aired here, because I'll be watching Stephen Colbert and switching to Letterman for his last half hour before The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson. I have no desire to give Conan a chance, he had his chance at 12:30 and a time slot change isn't going to make a difference.
