May 9th 2008 2:01AM They are talking about a silent vehicle. What about a bicycle or skateboard? People ride on the streets with those and many have run over countless people causing them bodily injury. Bet the injured never heard them coming either! The fact that someone can blame a manufacturer for a kid riding in the middle of the street is down right crazy! What the heck was the kid doing in the middle of the street in the first place? What this mother should be doing is thanking God that her son was unharmed! The situation could have been way worse. Thius so-called Mom is just looking for a reason to blame someone for her lack of parenting skills... she is a bad parent!

Mar 31st 2008 5:02PM AMEN to that statement! It truly is amazing how little control we have of our vehicle once we try to do anything other than drive!! Pay attention folks! Talking on the cell, eating or trying to deal with children in the car is a big no-no! If the situation with children is too overwhelming pull off the road to a safe place!

He shamed her! As for her burning up the cell phones, obviously she attacked him where it hurts.. his pocket book! For her, he attacked her emotionally and you know what they say about a woman "Hell hath no fury like the scorn of a woman" ...And, hell hath no fury like a bride who realizes that integrity has been breeched!!!

Feb 16th 2008 8:42PM First of all, I was shocked to see that this police officer put this kid in a choke hold, let alone see him push him down with such force! Nobody, not even a cop, has the right to place their hands on a minor. Wearing a badge doesnt make him exempt from being listed as an abusive adult to a minor. What made him think that he had authority to be abusive, use threatening tones of voice or order any one around... especially a young teen riding a skateboard! He is treating these kids as though they committed a crime.. big deal they rode their skateboards!! This is why kids go whacko, adults dont have respect for the young. They treat them like little soldiers! This cop has some serious issues!
