Ask Engadget: Which are the best full-size headphones? {Engadget}

May 1st 2008 7:32PM I have a set of the HD280Pros too. Very nice headphones. I'd recommend them if you don't want to hear much other than what they are plugged into. My wife is pissed when I wear them playing video games.

Why hasn't anyone hacked the Kindle? {Engadget}

Feb 28th 2008 12:04PM Love my Kindle. To busy reading to worry about hacking it. People hack the iPhone because it's a popular challenge. Kindle is on the back burner.
The kindle does what I want and I'm cool with that. Same with the iPhone. I do wish the iPhone had a few more apps, but I have patients.

Cheers.

Kindle bags its first accessories, from WaterField {Engadget}

Feb 7th 2008 12:01PM Own and really enjoy my kindle. The cover it comes with is great when you're reading, but I'm not sure how well it will protect it. On rainy days I put the Kindle in a ziploc bag when I ride my bike to work. No worries.

Why do people have to rant about the kindle? I really don't get it. Didn't your mother say, "if you have nothing nice to say don't say anything."

Rant all you want, but the reading experience is excellent on the Kindle (what its designed for). I'd happily buy it again.

Win a Philips 42PFL5603D 42-inch 1080p HDTV! {Engadget HD}

Feb 5th 2008 4:19PM No TV in my house right now. My PS3 and XBox 360 asked me to post here so they can have a TV.

Tired of traveling overweight? Try Tonga! {Gadling}

Feb 5th 2008 1:05PM I was a Peace Corps Volunteer in Tonga. Tongans can be pretty big, but I rarely saw a overly obese person. It's just how they're built.
On the other scale, some Tongan women and men were very good looking. Like anyway, you have good and bad.
And yes, Tonga got the memo on heart disease and diabetes. The Former king would run (when he was younger) along the water front in Nuku'alofa.

If you head to Tonga and somebody says "Sino Lelei" your doing good. It means good fat (just the right amount).

How would you change Amazon's Kindle? {Engadget}

Feb 1st 2008 7:11PM Love my Kindle. Changes: the right "Next" button doesn't have to be so big. I push near the bottom of it 90% of the time.

Yeah, it's expensive, but I'd buy it again. Having the ability to read the newspaper and a book from the same device is better than carrying both. I don't own a car so I don't have the luxury of having a trunk/back seat that can hold a ton of books. With my iPhone and this, I pretty much can do everything on the road. Read, I use the kindle. Music, movies, TV, email, and internet: I use the iPhone.

Pics of prototype 8-inch Asus Eee PC {Engadget}

Jan 8th 2008 6:56PM I hope they do change the resolution or at least give the option to display at least 1024.
