Jan 7th 2008 5:05PM Honesly, I'm a girl scout and I have been for 11 years. I know that it looks sort of scamish when we say that we only get 15% of the profit, but the rest goes to giving us good camps with climbing walls and horses and wildlife facilities and nice cabins with indoor plumbing, etc. All of these things are expensive and need maintaining. The reason cookie prices are higher in some places than others is because some places have more camps that need more maintaining. So honestly, GS cookies are NOT a scam.
