One in four travelers smuggle liquids through TSA checkpoints {Gadling}

Nov 1st 2011 3:01PM Think twice about doing this on purpose. My wife forgot about a small liquid in her purse when clearing security. They ended up making her take each and every individual item out of her carry on's and purse. A large women's purse can apparently have 1000's of items in it.

I cleared security with almost an hour to spare, but we almost didn't make the flight since they took almost the full hour looking at each and every thing she had with her. It was an honest mistake, but there's not accounting for that.

Source: Charlie Sheen 'Destroyed' by Ashton News {PopEater}

May 16th 2011 5:25PM No doubt, Ashton has talent and appeal to a younger audience. The question is: Charlie's Audience has been primarily older. Will they turn off to Ashton. Younger audiences love him, but they haven't been following 2.5 since the beginning - the show was too "old" for them.

Can Chuck L. Succeed in making an entire audience change 180 degrees. Hope so - we'll give it a try, but we're in our 60's and won't stay long if it turns into humor targeted for young folks. Nothing wrong with that - just ain't us. Good luck anyway. either way - Charlie got what he deserved.

Do Electronic Gadgets Really Affect an Airplane's Instruments? {AOL Travel News}

Mar 26th 2011 4:21PM I'm a pilot of small aircraft flying mostly in the 6,000 to 16,000 foot altitudes. I can tell you I have NEVER been able to pick up a cell signal in my airplane. Unless an aircraft is equipped with some sort of transmission devise to assist cell phone transmissions, they won't work up there anyway. Not my theory - my experience.

Is Target Cheaper Than Walmart? One Survey Says Yes {WalletPop}

Mar 5th 2011 9:15AM How can Wal Mart advertise they ALWAYS sell for less when they don't. They tell you they will match advertised prices, but only if you catch them. Their slogan should be, "We sell for less, if you catch us." Even then they only match a price, not sell it for less. Most businesses would be sued for false advertising. Hummm

SmackDown: Should a Former Prostitute Be Allowed to Teach in Public School? {ParentDish}

Sep 29th 2010 6:31AM Prostitute's teaching? Well, I have heard of former politicians teaching. I think I'll take the prostitute over the politician any day.

Two Cents on Tipping: Who, When and How Much {AOL Jobs}

Sep 2nd 2010 11:21PM I never tip on take out. First of all, someone took the order, someone else bagged the order and probably a totally different person picked up the bag and handed it to me when I came in to get it.

So who would get the tip? In my opinion, no one did anything more than just handle the bag for a few moments. It's nothing like full service dine in.

Kids Fly Southwest Without Telling Parents {AOL Travel News}

Aug 13th 2010 3:48PM Good for these kids. They learned how to save their money for something they wanted, they learned how to travel through a system that most adults can't handle very well, and they learned that when they make a mistake, they can always call mom and day. No harm, no foul, great lessons for all. Everyone else needs to take a chill pill.

How to Get Rid of Insects the Natural Way {Shelterpop}

Jun 14th 2010 4:03AM "The fly has compound vision and seeing the water thinks there are many more flies and won't come around?" Give me a break, have you ever seen anything dead or rotten. There are hundreds, if not thousands of flies on it. Seeing other flies does NOT keep more from coming around. That's just dumb.

Shape Move of the Week: Kim Kardashian's Workout Moves {That's Fit}

May 22nd 2010 2:34PM BS, BS, BS - Anyone who's as young as Kim can pretend they are making their body hot, but it just comes naturally. Let's see what she looks like at 55.

Parents Group Targets Shat 'My Dad Says' and CBS {PopEater}

May 22nd 2010 12:49AM Why do these Jesus Freaks hide behind names that are basically a lie about who they are. They always call themselves, "American Family council" or "Concerned Parents", etc. Yet when you get down to the truth, these are all fronts for religious groups. They never mention religion, but pretend to represent a broad spectrum of America. Odd they would build their Jesus group on a lie - but then again, why does that surprise anyone.
