Nov 11th 2010 9:32AM I don't see the political point to making sure Bristol wins DWTS. Frankly, I don't even believe Palin is doing what this article suggests. I think she is proud and supporting of her daughter, but surely she isn't a stage mother - she has her own stage to promote and be engaged with. I think some Palin supporters are voting for Bristol, but I also think a lot of teenage girls are voting for her - ones that want to see this teenage Mom win over the older candidates.

Aug 19th 2009 10:28AM WELDGIRL - I'm sure Angelina, thousands of missionaries and other people who care about Africans are hoping that maybe YOU and others like YOU will take up the slack for the 'needy' in the most prosperous nation on Earth, America. What is your REAL reason for resenting her gift to the Namibian children? In America we have social agencies and religious programs of all types where one can go to get help. In Africa it's pretty much a bottomless pit of need. I appreciate Ms. Jolie's generosity and the fact that she is using her wealth and fame to help others to raise themselves up to a better life. It's too bad that even many Christians (of which I am) are so self-centered they still cry out, "give it to me! give it to me!"
Angelie Jolie and Brad Pitt are living in adultery and are not Christians, but nevertheless, they help people, and we should be glad for that. Don't begrudge their gift to one for another who doesn't need it as much. WELDGIRL, what have you done for anyone else lately?

Aug 9th 2009 7:03AM I think the new style looks much better than the straight, cropped do that I've hated on her. Next thing I think she should do to help her looks, is to either whiten her teeth or have veneers put on. She needs a bright smile - it would do wonders. Love Hillary, wish her the best.

Jul 3rd 2009 8:48AM John McCain made a disastrous choice to make Sarah Palin his running mate. He lost the election the minute she came on board. He obviously thought all the women who were behind Hillary would swing over to Sarah simply because she is a woman. He showed then and there that he is a dinosaur with outdated chavunist ideas. If he had been able to stabalize his ego and emotions enough to make Mitt Romney his running mate, we may very well have seen a different outcome to the election. I have been a republican for 38 years, but the party let us all down with McCain as the party's candidate. He was a poor choice; too old and too outdated, could never have served more than one term. Almost looks like the Republican party wanted to lose. But Sarah Palin? She is a joke, and a bad one.
