Jun 14th 2012 10:50PM You know where I am from if we see a neighbor having trouble with their yard or not able to mow at all we sort of step up and help them. I do this all the time as does the neighbor next door. After the 80+ yr old lady got better and started a garden this year we are given fresh veggies on almost a daily basis. People know what is right and when to help your neighbor.

Mar 6th 2012 10:27AM Even captive bred exotics can be deadly to owners. Just look it up. Most cities wont even allow you to have exotics unless you have special permits. I also thought Roos had a large toenail it uses for defense when attacked?This is also getting old that people move to these homes with HOA rules and regulations already in place and then bring exotics in before checking about legalities. Then they play on the peoples emotions to keep the pets in question. Once you start allowing one person to break rules what about all the rest. I have also never heard of Kangaroos being therapy pets either.

Dec 16th 2011 9:07PM I feel for the kid but for goodness sakes why did this family (and the others mentioned) not talk/ask the HOA first. They should have been aware of the rules as a responsible home buyer/owner. People get in such an uproar when things like this happen but you have to put the blame where it belongs. Rules are rules and have to abided by. I just wonder how this would have played out if they had talked and shown the therapists recommendation first. I am not cold-harded as I have 2 mentally challenged individuals in my care I just think people should use common sense.

Dec 7th 2011 9:50AM I think what the firemen did was wrong but usually when it is a mobile home burning theres not much that can be done unless you are right there on top of it. Maybe they should have that fee put on a utility bill or something so it is paid out over the year.
