Kye Allums, Division I Athlete, Tells Us How Being Transgender Feels {Lemondrop}

Nov 6th 2010 1:24AM The only question of this person:

Do you have a "Y" chromozome or not? If you do, get off the girls team.

That's that.

So simple even I could think of it.

Olivia Wilde, Paris Hilton and Stephanie Pratt Wear Same French Connection Dress - Who Wore It Best? {Stylelist}

Jul 23rd 2010 7:45PM If I were a lion, I'd eat any one of those zebras.

10 products to never buy generic {WalletPop}

Jul 19th 2010 5:06PM My experience:
Many products like fruits and vegetables, canned fish, etc, are often from the same canning lines if generic. Low price beer is usually all from the same low-price breweries. (Taste is the key). The Brew 102 plant in Los Angeles used to make all the private label beer in LA.

Do stay away from private label liquor. Rum, whisky, vodka, gin, tequila. all they do is add the appropriate flavorings to the same tank truck load of ethanol. Some of the additives can cause super hangovers. Stick to the real stuff. Some of the cheap brands are good, but virtually all the private label stuff is artificial.

Good cheap brands: Early Times, Ballantine, Gilbys, RonRico.

Hooters Waitress, Cassie White, Punished for Weight {AOL Jobs}

May 21st 2010 7:43PM 5-8 and 132 seems OK by me. That is in the "foxy" demographic.
FAR from Rubensian, and much skinnier than Monroe, Loren, and Mansfield.
However, the guys that write the checks make the rules.
You wouldn't allow a Laker to wear Celtics jersey.
You wouldn't have your character actor at Disneyland to show up as Bugs Bunny or Snoopy.

Limbaugh Accuses Gallup of Counting Too Many Blacks in Polls on Obama {Politics Daily}

Nov 20th 2009 12:15PM Love the guy from Gallup. You don't have to fudge the data if you skew the methodology. Truman-Dewey polling showed that. The data was correct. The sample was so skewed that the conclusion was wrong. All you'd have to do to get Obama's numbers up is shift your sampling area by a block or two.

Disney's First Black Princess...Has a Prince Who's Not Black {Blackvoices Main}

Mar 29th 2009 11:33PM There have been African Princes for a lot longer than there have been European ones. Why not "THE BLACK PRINCE" Skin color shouldn't make a difference, but why not throw the activists a bone. After all the flaming settlers cabin on Tom Sawyer Island at Disneyland is no longer the result of an Indian raid.

How to Spot a Fake Diamond {Shopping Articles Blog}

Mar 24th 2009 7:11PM Can we trust these guys?
It is CUBIC ZIRCONIA (the oxide of Zr),
not CUBIC ZIRCONIUM (the metal).
All the diamond substitutes are easy to detect and weed out.
However, deal with reputable dealers unless you have the capability of testing yourself.
If you deal with the shady, price it like costume jewelry.

Stupidity at its best - alcoholic falls down stairs- sues hotel for brain damage {Gadling}

Feb 10th 2009 2:40PM I don't buy suing the hotel for the drunkenness.
However, drunks need safe and properly constructed stairways (probably more than the rest of us). It's not hard to make a stairway so out of whack that it is a dangerous trap, even for the sober.

Hot Seat: Should Ted Stevens Resign? {Politics Daily}

Jul 30th 2008 2:23PM Is a leasehold improvement a gift, taxible income, or what? That's how the folks on Extreme Home Makeover avoid taxes to recipients. It remains to be seen whether an increase in value is really a "gift" in the eyes of a jury.

EV from 1904 still silently cruising the streets {Autoblog Green}

Aug 9th 2006 9:52AM And don't forget that those lead acid batteries will need replacement every five years or so. The only advantage that Bakers had over horses was: they produced no fertilizer.
My daughter's VW Golf (Rabbit) diesel is a very comfortable with all the bells and whistles & gets an HONEST 49mpg with a range of about 500mi on the highway. With a tweak or two, it will run on almost any combustible liquid, and the infrastructure already exists.
There is NO free lunch. The electricity has to come from somewhere.
