Feb 4th 2011 11:35PM ... pilot fell asleep? ...got news for you but it happens all the time, and there is no real danger. Once a plane has reached it's assigned 'flight level', and the autopilot is set for a long (and very boring) 6 or 8 hour trans oceanic trip, critical system alarms are set,... one of the flight crew often dozes off for an hour or two. On larger A/C there are often 3 crew in the 'front office'... so once things aresettled in I would see no risk
