May 1st 2008 10:33AM Sorry Packer but any of the episodes of AI last year with Sanjaya were the worst. Especially the one with him and that mohawk.
I never knew it was possible for me to hate a 16 year old kid so very much lol
Empire picks the 50 greatest TV shows of all-time {AOL TV}
May 1st 2008 10:24AM You're forgetting All in the Family, Law and Order, Bonanza, Gunsmoke. Law and Order has been on 18 years now, and Gunsmoke lasted 20. They must have done something right?
This list is just foolish.

Just curious here really. But does Brooke's presence on this Earth offend you? You and several others seem really bitter towards her. What bothers you so? The fact that she's a decent gal? The fact she sings with passion?
Or the fact she's more talented than you are maybe?

May 1st 2008 7:45AM Brooke was "kept around" because unlike most contestants, she connected emotionally with what she was singing. David A may have a great voice but he seems disconnected with what he sings. Same with Jason Castro.
I had figured that Brooke would make the top 3. She certainly deserved that. Still don't know how Syesha made it so far. Her voice isn't that great, she's no performer.
I guess girls vote for Jason because he's "cute" and guys for Syesha because she's cute? Personally to me, Jason Castro looks like a blasphemous dope fiend.
Even I will be the first to admit that Brooke flubbed I'm a Believer. But she really hit it out of the park with I Am I Said.
I wish her well and hope that she has a great recording career. I know I will be buying some of her music.
American Idol: Top 5 perform {AOL TV}
Apr 30th 2008 7:10AM Dave I gotta agree with you. Someone has to get Paula into a rehab. It's getting beyond pathetic.
I honestly don't think any of the 5 did themselves much with their 1st choices of songs. Probably David Cook did the best. Brooke really did no justice to I'm A Believer (one of my favorite all time songs), but then hit a home run with the 2nd.
Who is going home? Hopefully Syesha, but no one really knows for sure now do them?

Like you, I voted for GW in 2000 and 2004. Like you, I am proud of my vote. I voted for Brooke and am proud of my votes for her. Some who can't see how others may want to do different things, are the narrow minded ones.
Yet they are the same people calling you and me narrow minded lol.
Hey I liked Chikezie also. I don't really go that way, so it must have been that I liked how he sings. I loved what he did on the 1st Beatles night. Means I got different tastes than some of these people.
Which is fine,just like that Carolyn gal said above.
If I liked Amy Davis, thats my business. If I like Chikezie and Brooke and Amy Davis, I have that right, they are what I will purchase, and if someone else can't handle it, thats their issue.
Amazing to me though, how these "enlightened people" get all upset though lol

Vote For The Worst can manipulate things up until you get into the TOP 8 or so. After that, there is not much they can do. You maybe get 500,000 to 1 million votes from that site tops weekly.
Now you had 36 million votes on Tuesday, and one can assume that since Brooke was not in the bottom 2, that VFTW had not much to do with it.
I seriously doubt the reason that Brooke wasn't voted off had anything to do with VFTW. It had to do with the fact that fans like me and many others like her and think she's a good performer.
VFTW could keep a Sanjaya around into the Top 10, and maybe until the Top 8. But after that, VFTW getting a lesser contestant slightly lower than 1 million votes won't really make that big a deal between the performer who placed 4th and he or she who voted 6th.
In a close vote, they may be able to affect who is the final winner when it comes to the final 2.
VFTW put that little troll Sanjaya into the top 10. After that he didn't stay long.

Apr 24th 2008 6:19AM If you think that Brooke can not sing, then you really need to have your ears checked. She has a great voice and puts alot of feeling behind her songs. Does she have that "big voice" that so many demand on AI with a huge range? No she does not.
BUT
Brooke does have a way of connecting to her songs that the other performers lack. And even Randy and Simon said that she gave a good performance once she got over the screwup at the beginning.
(oh and please don't tell me that I am just voting for her because she's pretty or that she's a gal, because I also was voting for Chikezie before he got eliminated)
Carly actually gave a good performance, and yes this is a bit of a popularity contest at times. But so is the rest of life, so get over it. Carly never really bothered me, she's not a bad kid and has a good voice. Just I wouldn't buy any music from her.
Ive DL'ed songs from Brooke, Chikezie, and Amy Davis, and thats how I've been voting.
Vote for who you'd pay for their music.
Syesha should have gone home, but hey, no one appointed me Lord and Master of AI (somehow I don't think anyone will either lol)
