Sep 10th 2009 2:02AM There is an antique store district not too far from where I live, and one store inparticular always has this cookie out as treat for shoppers/browsers. This is my daughters' favorite store just because of the windmill cookies. I had no idea that the company was in trouble. Glad to hear that the windmills are back.

Jul 24th 2009 2:37PM I am so glad that I live on the main land. My daughters got such a kick out of seeing the Weinermobile pass by one day. We'll keep the logos here, and our friendlier attitudes towards advertising.

Jun 17th 2009 12:34AM From looking at the pictures, I'm doubting that I missed very much. It looked like some of the celebrities there raided a Halloween costume party. It's sad that Country Music has steered away from it's roots, and is now being replaced by something close to mainstream rock. At least there are still Classic Country Music stations I can catch on the radio. This is one classic country fan that can do without all the rhetoric.

Jun 13th 2009 12:55AM Death happens to every living being. I allow my children to watch these movies, and they haven't set and sobbed because of the deaths. If anyone remembers in "The Neverending Story" Artax was brought back to life at the end of the movie. Some people are over bent on protecting kids from the sadder parts of life. They are going to learn one day. Sometimes the movies can explain something better in a way than adults can.

Beets. I can't get past the smell, it's like opening up a can of dirt. My husband likes them mixed with ranch dressing and sliced raw onions, chilled. He eats it like a salad.
Oysters. Too slimy and nasty smelling. Besides, these things come with a warning before eating.
Mustard/Collard/Turnip Greens. The flavor is so disgusting and bitter.
