Tofu Festival {Gadling}

May 26th 2006 12:16PM I'm willing to bet this trend could catch on in due time to other cities who are health conscious enough to go green or go organic, especially up north in Oregon, Washington and BC.

Best American Beaches {Gadling}

May 26th 2006 12:14PM I'm in agreement that the best beaches are the ones nobody really knows about or visits. This certainly is not the case with the list, so you wouldn't find me visiting them unless it was during an off peak time. But then again, I've found a lot of other beaches with much more charm than these which I'll be visiting first.

Red Corner: Albania as the Next Great Outdoor Destination? {Gadling}

May 26th 2006 12:11PM I think some of this popularity comes from tourist buses of chinese and japanese tourists stopping off for a meal and a quick look into Albania. It might be good for eco-tourists ready for a challenge but Albania still has a long long ways to go.

Stress may be good for the unborn {ParentDish}

May 17th 2006 11:38PM I'd take the study as good news but I'd like to make sure more than one study which supports this finding.

Unmarried Missouri couple and children face eviction {ParentDish}

May 17th 2006 11:28PM I completely agree too, absurd, insane and probably racially related. The states need to get with the times or they will be left behind. Personally this drove me to be an expat for life. Sorry but I won't be back either... Stuff like this boils my blood and well if they don't accept you, I'll go where I'm welcome instead.

Late Snow Skiing {Gadling}

May 17th 2006 4:02PM I'd say this entire area is just breath taking and in the summer months it is a great place to enjoy wine and hike in the area while visiting glaciers. It's one stop I'd like to put on my next trip.

Bears Eat Monkey at Amsterdam Zoo {Gadling}

May 17th 2006 3:52PM I'd say that's one crazy occurance. If I remember correctly, you can actually get an up close encounter and glimpse of the monkeys at least. Just goes to show that bears are very wild, just as they are here in Vancouver. Bears are starting to hunt for food and come down from the mountains at this time of the year.

Ideal spacing for siblings? {ParentDish}

May 17th 2006 11:58AM My brother and I are 4.5 years apart. The age difference really helped out in that I was very helpful to my mom at times and more mature. On the other hand, we really faught during my teenage years and didn't become close until I was off at University. I'm really undecided on the advantages as of yet since I don't have any kids of my own. I think much of it depends on how old you are when you start having kids though.

Driving Through Nevada {Gadling}

May 16th 2006 3:50PM I've driven through the desert a few times, but really it was just flat, big and too hot. Most of those memories were when I was quite young, however my best memories were from a camping trip in the Desert. The specific spot was Joshua Tree which is located in Southern California. In 1994 they had a gigantic meteor shower that was incredible. What made it more incredible was that there weren't any lights from within a 40 mile radius. If you drive through the desert, make sure to check it out at night when it's cooler and there aren't many lights around. It will be a sight you only wish you could keep seeing every day!

Matterhorn Panos {Gadling}

May 11th 2006 5:16PM Great site. I could agree with you more on the panos. Since I'm a total Switzerland fan, I thank you much for finding this site!
