Nov 23rd 2011 6:11PM It seems there is no common sense left in people, when the heavy man checked in, anyone would have noticed his size, they should have made him pay for a second seat, or asked if anyone would give up his seat for a later flight,with reward a free ticket. No, a 200 Dollar voucher is not enough for standing for seven hours. He deserved a free ticket to fly for every hour he spent on that flight.

Feb 25th 2011 12:41AM Really loving your children sometimes askes for tough love, but never to hurt them emotionally and physically. When my girls were small I used to count to3 then I spanked only on the butt,careful never to hit thei hands trying to shield their butt,then I hugged them told because I love them and talked about the reason of the punishment.Never in anger always careful. My girls neded it only once or twice in their life time and they never were really hurt, but love and consistency, learning discipline from early on is so important. Ask my girls today, they have no bad memories about our discipline.And it was not easy, just let grow, it took a lot of good will and effort, maybe for today's time,there is no time for raising children with patience and effort.

Nov 20th 2010 4:40PM First Gloria I really like your guidelines, they are valuable in any family.I believe in love conquers all, so when I married a man with a ten year old girl, I first loved her, so I could put up in patience, caring for her, walking her to school, picking her up. She wouldn't let me touch her head for two years, like pat,what I did to my own children , when they were little. Slowly I established rules, and was consistence, with love and respect for her. I never forced myself on her, but he had messed her up talking bad about her mother, so I stopped him. So slowly she started to respect me. I also had her baptized and we started going to church. I fixed her hair pretty for school and kids tried to burn her hair. Apparently she was picked on by the kids in school.I went to their parents to straighten tngs out, and it worked, by God's grace. After 3 years she gave me my first Birthday present, she had bought with her own money, a rough amathist rock. But looking back ,it took a lot of patience and good talks and absolutely not tolerating destructive behavior. After the first month she id something disrespectful, I forgot what it was, so I slapped her accross the mouth, and all day I worried what she would say to her father at night, and I wa totally surprised,she didn't mention it. So she was sure of my love,even so early. I split from her father after she was raised, had her own family, and when she had her baby she had her baptized right away..Now I talk to her, but not to her father, nothing true ever came out of his mouth.

FROM DAY ONE THIS PRESIDENT WAS "SABOTAGED" BY THE REPUBLICANS IN ALL HE TRIED TO DO. AND WE WERE MORE IN A DEPPRESSION THAN RECESSION.HE INHERITED A A TRILLION DOLLAR DEBT. He defiintely was STAR STRUCK, looking for fame, and before his last dance he made a real concieted remark about himself,He is a super Ego and will probably allow a wife to to "THRIVE " in his SHADOW only. Vienna can do so much better with a "Down To Earth" guy.

Jun 25th 2010 7:41PM Parents don't just have children, please raise your children, and good healthy food is part of it, sometimes saying no for the child's benefit is eessential, don't blame anyone or any business, blame only yourselves for bad eating habits of your children. I raised 3 daughters and know what I'm talking about. Children will try anything to get their way, that's why they have parents to guide them.

May 14th 2010 11:49AM stupid talk doesn't help a bad situation, so far our florida beaches ,like Fort DE SOTO Park are , St Petersburg Beaches are as beautiful as ever,that's why I live here. I feel so bad for fishermen and people affected by the oilspill, but please everyone look at the real facts, thank God, our area hasn't been affected, so vacationers have a great time here.
