World War II Vet John Potter, 91, Faces Eviction by Daughter {AOL Real Estate}
Apr 25th 2013 3:46PM If I were the judge my ruling would set the eviction date at something like June 30, 2023. Intelligence obviously skipped a generation in this family. This man is 91. How many more years does his daughter think he has left (without undue stress and worry)?
Atheist Patrick Greene, Who Threatened to Sue Over Courthouse Nativity Scene, Sparks New Controversy {AOL Real Estate}
Nov 25th 2012 12:45PM It's a nice star and he actually spelled out Merry CHRISTMAS. Accept the star, display it in the nativity scene and erect the sign. Good will to ALL mankind!
Colin Steer Finds Medieval Well and Sword Under His Plymouth, England, Home {AOL Real Estate}
Aug 30th 2012 6:18PM Yes, how horrific of her to not want a big hole in the middle of her living room! (insert sarcastic smirk here)
Gary Harrington of Oregon Jailed for Illegal Rainwater Reservoirs on His Property {AOL Real Estate}

Denver HOA Looks to Ban Sidewalk Chalk Art {AOL Real Estate}
Jun 12th 2012 12:04AM It's CHALK! It washes away with water. Why do so many people seem to be complaining like this is grafiti (did I spell that right? I can never remember.)?
American Airlines food killed passenger, claims lawsuit {Gadling}
Dec 1st 2011 2:57PM 1) Was he the only person on the flight to eat the chicken?
2) If he was really obviously sick at the gate why did they board the plane instead of asking for an ambulance to take them to a local hospital?
3) If they had not been allowed to board by the airline because he was so sick would his family now be suing for not being allowed to fly home?
In my opinion this lawsuit is golddigging and should be dismissed before a judge even has to be bothered with it.
Obese passenger forces neighbor on US Airways flight to stand for 7 hours {Gadling}
Nov 23rd 2011 5:10PM I think he should sue the obese man who took up his seat for the cost of the flight as well as compensation for mental and physical anguish. It might help make people aware of their need to take responsibility for their size and purchase the space they need.
Woman Faces Foreclosure on House She Bought for $1 {AOL Real Estate}
Sep 9th 2011 9:53PM If the bank is going to take this home, then they at least owe this woman the cost of moving and restoration, including labor. They might decide it's cheaper to let her keep it.
I hope she gets the miracle she needs to keep her home. Wish I could help.
Bizarre baby names: banned in New Zealand {Gadling}
Jul 21st 2011 10:53PM they also had a younger brother with an equally weird name, but I can't remember what it is.
Mom Says Son's Life Was Saved Because of Facebook {ParentDish}
Jul 15th 2011 3:24PM If you've never heard of Kawasaki Disease (or any possible rare illness) you wouldn't know to ask the ER to check for it. ER doctors are generally really busy and so don't think about a RARE ILLNESS as a possible cause of illness, especially when the symptoms look like so many more common illnesses, most of which seem to always be "going around".
She did not NOT SEEK medical attention at all, she just thought she had a new fangled way to get some additional input. Experience is the best teacher and not every doctor has experience with every rare illness.
