She has been retired for 8 years now, but she is supposed to be mounting a comeback that's even bigger than Private Dancer.

She's a human being who is not out partying. She's not out doing concerts. She's not making television appearances. She goes to a store and you have a million guys on her back. She goes to buy food and the world is recording what she buys, how much she eats, how long she takes to eat. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!! Leave her alone. I am begging you all to please please please stop this. Stop reporting on what she is doing. I'm begging you. You're killing this woman. There are millions of people throughout the world who have life long relationships without being tied to a certificate that says they are married. Also, regarding the bible, what exactly defines what a marriage is? Is marriage not a commitment to another individual? These people have made a commitment. Our western ways of thinking have changed the view of marriage. Why does a piece of paper define marriage? A marriage certificate is used for insurance purposes and nothing more. The committment that two people have for each other is the marriage. Also, regarding the bible (so many of you refer to that without realizing that it was written by men who wanted to boost their own agenda) isn't a marriage consumated by sex? In the days of the bible and the days before the bible, there weren't the ceremonies that happened today. It was SEX that made you married. You've committed, you've had sex. You're married. Why do you need a certificate to prove your love for someone? Also, since you all are so gung ho about having a certificate, why do you deny gay people who want to be married (with a certificate) the right to be married?

Anna Nicole presents herself in a certain way in front of the camera, but I don't think she's that way when the lights are off and the camera isn't rolling.

May 24th 2006 12:35PM The Dixie Chicks are quite talented. They shouldn't have to resort to negative comments about others to boost their image. That's not cool. As for Bush, I am not a fan at all. I agreed when they said what they said and disagreed when they took it back. If you're going to make a comment, make it and stick to it. By stating that they now take back the apology after 4 or 5 years, that's just a publicity thing. Madonna and Jessica Lang made statements about the President. Neither one of them took it back.

May 9th 2006 12:58PM I know of Trinidad. Trinidad is one of the world's largest producers of Petroleum. There is an entire lake filled with nothing but Petroleum. It's called Pitch Lake. Also, Trinidad is home to the largest Carnival celebration in the caribbean. The steel pan instrument comes from Trinidad. In addition to that, the Island is home to a number of famous recording artists and dignitaries. The "RAPSO" style of music was started in Trinidad by Cheryl Byron. RAPSO combines Poetry and Spoken word. Also, Soca and Calypso were started in Trinidad and Tobago. It's a very interesting Island. The Island isn't as "famous" as Jamaica because it doesn't have to rely on tourism to make its money. The country has the resources to do that on its own.
