It wasn't his first time being late for one stupid reason or another. Constantly missed the train, car broke down, he must have replaced 50 tires ina three month period. He no longer works here

Feb 25th 2011 5:08PM I actually had a guy tell me he was late because as he was walking to the train station, he remembered he forgot to take the garbage out, so he went back and did that, missing his train. His reasoning was that he didn't want his girlfriend to get mad at him

Maybe people should start boycotting the airlines that charge these ridiculous fees.
Also, be aware, pretty soon there will only be a few behemoth airlines as the airlines merge and create giants. These few will be able to charge insane amounts of money for nothing!
