Jan 31st 2008 11:55AM I think the saddest part is that it is happening on their biggest holiday, similar to Christmas here in terms of wanting to be with family:
Jan 7th 2008 1:37PM Oh no! That is definitely me sometimes. I know that you're supposed to be mature and do things like ask for help, but I just can't.
It even happens over here where I know the protocol. I just never speak up about it.
Over on GoGirfriend/a>, there is a story about how a lady spoke up to a spa director after the fact and wasn't happy with the resolution and I think that kind of experience influences those of us who avoid embarrasment.
We end up speaking up less and less because the times that we overcome ourselves we just don't seem to get any resolution, so what is the point in trying?
Dec 28th 2007 10:00AM I love Tunick's work...usually I'm afraid of nudes and I definitely wouldn't participate but he?she? makes all of those human bodies beautiful.
I think the mountain one is especially interesting considering how much of a hobby it is turning into - and apparently has a historical basis. I know you guys have covered it before, and it's always in the popular sidebar on http://www.gogirlfriend.com - no matter that they've had a lot more recent items.
I wonder if it is just the fascination with nudity of others, or if a lot of the interested people would actually do something like a nake outdoor sport, or be a model in a Tunick project.
Dec 27th 2007 10:29AM It's the same thing as is happening in iceland - endangered places travel. IT seems to have been doing a series on it before their new China thingy. Get there before it dissapears, but by all means don't experience it too much or your might experience discomfort.
Dec 27th 2007 10:09AM I think it's a pretty global phenomenon. Countries everywhere are reducing alcohol consumption for health, safety, and economic means, just like they cut out midday relaxation and replaced it with airconditioning.
In Mexico they are billing it as a safety/productivity issue: http://www.gogirlfriend.com/trackback/185 and I'm sure in germany people are finding that if you've to work in the morning, you get up better without a having downed 3 pints the night before. I think alcohol consumption is moving towards bingedrinking instead. That is why England has so many problems.
Dec 21st 2007 9:12AM I think exotic fruit at christmas is a lot older than that. The english orange at the foot of the stocking is from at least the 1800s....In America, in one of Laura Ingalls Wilder's Little House books they share a Christmas orange.
Dec 20th 2007 2:40PM Other people online are saying that it's getting through TSA checks.
I'd be interested to see how well the pumps work.
Dec 20th 2007 10:11AM I think that's awesome. Other countries will have to respect their sites or risk losing them...and the tourist dollars they bring.
Dec 18th 2007 1:20PM it's been worth more than the US dollar for quite a while....you're gaining on us now, but not quickly.
