Apr 11th 2007 1:07PM He said nothing racist. "Nappy-headed" is an adjective that could describe one with tangled/tattered/knotted hair. "Hoe" is a noun that refers to one who has sexual contact with many people.
Though it was an unfriendly statement, all he said was, essentially, "Those girls who have sexual contact with many and have unbrushed hair."
No color or race is thrown into the phrase. Why treat this like a national catastrophe?!
