Sep 3rd 2009 11:18PM I am just so sick of trying, like a fool might I add, to fit into what society deems "beautiful" or a "healthy weight". Yes, I am a plus-sized woman who has tried desperately losing the extra weight I carry. Regardless of how hard you try, it's never easy. And for those of you, who think my fat ass is making your insurance rates go up, think again. I work in a hospital and recently had a complete physical. My doctor told me I was the model of health. Go figure. I haven't been to a doctor in forever other than the work-up for my job. So to all the people who are disgusted by overweight or obese people...back off. Mind your own damn business and let everyone be who they are. :o)

Mar 3rd 2009 5:14PM I guess I am just tired of being cast aside because I don't fit into society's idea of beauty. Just because I am overweight does not mean that I am lazy or a pig. I have not really had any trouble with dating until recently. It seems I am not one of those calorically challenged women that 99.9% of men are interested in. And if you see heavyset people try not to pass judgment. You have no idea of their emotional or financial or health conditions. This young lady may have lost weight to lose her virginity but at least she lost the weight and lives a relatively healthy lifestyle now. What woman hasn't tried to lose weight for a guy? Who are we to judge.

Jan 23rd 2009 10:14PM I remember once when I was a teenager my family had traveled to Toronto. We were staying in a very exclusive hotel on the Concierge Level no less. After inspecting the bed before sleeping in it, we found pornographic magazines and a single thigh high ladies stocking. It was found stuffed between the mattresses. My family never complained to hotel management because we just thought it was hilarious and everything else really did seem to be clean.
