What's Middle Class in America? {AOL Real Estate}

Feb 24th 2013 6:26PM Self correction: I SAID:
"The middle class must be killed by the wealthy few who seem to believe that there is no room in America for pale folks to rise to power."

I meant to say:

The middle class must be killed by the wealthy few who seem to believe that there is no room in America for LESS pale folks to rise to power.

What's Middle Class in America? {AOL Real Estate}

Feb 24th 2013 5:59PM Somewhere along the way, business decide that they could NEVER make a small profit, or break even, they always now must make BIGGER profits even if it means less worker hours or fewer benefits for the folks who make their business even possible.

Add the almost perverse connection to corporate folks & financial folks dragging as many Americans into the "wall street" investment gambling arena & all the retirement funds, and you get the perfect set up for national manipulation of the working class financial universe.

The slow and unfair redistribution of the "productivity" benefits the worker SHOULD be getting have been transferred to the hedge funders, and manipulators of the financial markets which steal our money just slow enough that THEY CAN TELL FOLKS IT IS "RISK-LOSS" or INFLATION, NOT JUST GREED AND FINANCIAL THEFT by CEO bonus & uncovered risk with OUR MONEY.

The middle class must be killed by the wealthy few who seem to believe that there is no room in America for pale folks to rise to power.

Killing unions , education & social safety nets feeds the angry white power structure and that structure leans GOP which is why they favor the agenda which kills the progress of a generation of civil rights folks. With a blend poverty creation, racial hate and ideological inability to see beyond their own desired result.

The working class has become the "label" which gives the political hacks a cover for the truth, which is that the wall street virtue of greed & vanity has undermined the American dream of hard work = living wage & pursuit of happiness. the Boot-strap" crowd has made the availability of "boots" (metaphorical living wages) unreasonable for most to obtain, while they then cry about nobody can afford boots anymore.

98-Year-Old's Birthday Surprise: Eviction Notice From Her Son {AOL Real Estate}

Feb 18th 2012 4:50AM What the heck!?... if this is even half right, how did the douche-bag get control, of the trust was until her death?

there must be a lawyer who would like to defend her just on principal.

SkyMall Monday: Is the tugo rolling luggage drink holder clever or idiotic? {Gadling}

Nov 14th 2011 4:11PM WOW.. I made similar things for my girls when they were in cheer leading. All the traveling and stuff, kept their cups from spilling. (chocolate, not coffee)
made theirs out those stretchy hair ties, so it just hung there, not nearly as "finished" as these are.
missed the boat on this one!!
who knew...

Donald Trump Emerges as 'Just a Little' Bit Birther {PopEater}

Mar 17th 2011 7:25PM Donald, you are a dunce too. You just want the votes IF you run, IF you even get past your "just now proof of your ignorance".

giving the loons the benefit of the doubt only gives you less credibility.
YOUR FIRED!

Rising Oil Prices and Your Wallet {WalletPop}

Mar 1st 2011 1:48PM Bob,
this is not Obama, but it is the other guys. remember, they got 50 billion dollars in profits. no need to raise prices. but money and greed keep it steady.. steady and upwards.
You country is at war, but it is happeniong in the Governors offices and the corporate voter block and the lies and spin from false news agencies. The GOP /Tea aprty can't just start a true war on the rest of the nation, because they know they are the minority. when it comes to freedom and rights they believe you all have them, just as they allow you to.
Money rules this nation, corporate entities are not beholding to our nations actual soil, they are global and our American brand and army defense presence is important to them. So they claim to love America, but it is just the need to keep our backing.
of the corporate folks were seen as anti-American citizen, they would be chased out of most countries in a second.
corporate America is behind gated walls and in exclusive resorts were it is safe and always profitable.

Rising Oil Prices and Your Wallet {WalletPop}

Mar 1st 2011 1:38PM well folks,
this is not really about supply, it is about "speculators" they are hedging their bets and this adds to the cost we pay. they want to be safe and not lose any money, we the American citizen are their piggy bank. they know we pay regardless, we need to get from A to B.
Bad war policy, bad economic policy, now Obama gets road blocked and stuffed at every turn, the GOP pretends to have ideas, but most fall flat, and or are just the same old "tax breaks" save all of us spewdum.
largest growth of Government, and deficit, under GOP rule.
and thats just factual. but they know how to say things that sound great. lipservice and nothing more.

A Million Plug-in Cars by 2015? The President's Numbers Are a Stretch {WalletPop}

Feb 22nd 2011 5:37PM One of the problems I see with almost anything Obama says, is that a percentage of you folks regardless of reality or hope , or just a challenge to Americans, if Obama says it, you folks just hate it and say no. No sense of dream, or potential targets of making Americans try harder and maybe less pessimism., but of course, those who have set their minds on just say no and GOP or nothing, it stands to reason you folks have no sense of future or aiming at a target that might be tough to reach.
(or maybe impossible, but REAL AMERICANS have that spirit, but politcal puppets and singleminded drones of a political party entity driven by greed and self-preservation don't)
just a thought.

SmackDown: Should Teachers Be Allowed to Blog About Their Students? {ParentDish}

Feb 15th 2011 8:16PM Yes I know I will catch a lot of flack for the comments I am about to make, or have made already, but here goes anyway: The problem with PUBLIC EDUCATION (and this is about public, not private ) is relatively simple to explain.
The Public forum has no true CONSEQUENCES for bad behavior.
You can't touch the kids, even when they are phyical to each other or teachers. You can't speak to them like they need it, too harsh, or offending to their poor growing minds.
You can't force parents to back up your discipline, if the parents have none.

so simply said, without actual power in the hands of those who are charged with evaluating and teaching your children, you have glorified babysitters who absorb your childs abuse and neglect from your own lack of parenting skills, while expecting something you cannot give them from a total stranger. (the teacher)
all while complaining that the schools are not there to indoctrinate your kids with ideals you might not agree with!?... really
wide scoped educations and social interaction skills are not common ideals?

if you want to see your children act like decent adults, give your schools the power to get their attention with things they get backed up on by you as parents.
bring back counselors and creative arts in school, stop buying into the rhetoric that public schools produce misfits and tell your leadership in the governing bodies you go to, that you expect them to be honest and not just fight for dollars by creating an environment that rewards memorizing of facts and not actual application if facts in a real world environment.
Facts are great, they convey things which are regular and structured, but in many instances, facts might only be the base, but creative and honest thoughts produce things which take facts and create a path from those facts to more potentially great places.
not just flat facts and thats it.
Humans and Americans in general pride themselves on creative and original ideas, pointing out that the kids are blowing it, and the frustrated blogs of those folks who are given the task of managing your children, whom your ideals live in, have a right and a place in this nations education system.

Maybe if this is the trend, teachers feel they have no backing from parents and political agendas rule education dollars , and thus they must blog to get the word out, folks, maybe it's time we made those parents whose kids are ruining it for others more obvious and maybe like in church, you are subjected to scorn and shame, you might just remember why you send them to school, because you are not usually qualified to teach all the subjects , nor have the time to do the job, but when they turn out great and do well, you certainly take all the credit. maybe you need to take up some of that responsibility that comes from great teachers doing great things with your possibly less than great kids?!
And like it or not, all of our kids are not always great, nor do we want to hear they might need to work harder.
But if this teachers posts are even a tiny sliver of what our kids are capable of bringing out in those who devote their lives to the one under appreciated tasks our nation has, then maybe it's time to rethink what responsibility and blame looks like when our own kids can hate, blame, blog and text at will, and a teacher speaks her mind and folks don't like the results of those thoughts.
maybe we should fix the childrens issues, and stop blaming the teachers for not being able to make you as parents do your jobs or back up the need to set standards for your kids educations and behavior, since after all, its your own fault if you don't know what your kid does once he walks out the door to some extent isn't it.
again, just my thoughts onthis subject
