Feb 7th 2011 9:58AM If she had not been trying to turn it into a blues song and simply sang it straight she probably would not have messed up. I get so tired of these pop singers trying to put their own individual spin on the national anthem, it is the national anthem, not some personal performance piece.
I thought she sounded horrible even without the messed up line.

Dec 17th 2010 9:04AM SG-1 was carried by a good ensemble cast with real chemistry and a good story line till Richard Dean Anderson bowed out, then it simply felt cluttered and heavy handed and never regained its energy. SGU never really seemed to develop the chemistry and the story lines went to far afield from the premise of SG-1. I watched one episode of SGU and turned it off. I really do think that they have beat this to death.

Dec 11th 2010 8:40AM So as long as I think someone is an a**hle it is ok to bully them. CAustic humor is bullying humor, plan and simple. Never have bene a fan of KG and the few times I watched Chelsea I found her pre adolescent and vulgar in her humor. It does not take any intelligence to make the kind of jokes these women make. By the way, if we turn off the tv and stop paying to see them they will go away.

Nov 19th 2010 8:47AM Try this in the NFL if its so great. And yes it is a legal play but maybe should not be, these little kids are waiting for the snap and were simply confused when the play looked so different.
Adults simply taking advantage of inexperinced children. Frankly I think the coach is a bit of a jerk - no honor in this, no sportsmanship, no respect for the kids who are trying to learn a sport at this level.

Sep 25th 2010 8:46AM A man asking a father to marry a daughter has nothing to do with property. As an older man I can tell you that maturity can save a daughter a great deal of difficultly since a father can tell a jerk from a gem pretty well. I think most women who have had good brothers and fathers come to understand that they can turn to them to weed out the jerks. Unfortunately too many jerks simply marry for love (passion) and remain little boys - as most women are finding out. And by the way - we may marry for love but after the rush wears off you better have found that you are there for the friendship and not just the narcotic rush of passion.
We have become an uncivil society, partly because the Internet allows the anonymity to say any thing we want - worse that the expletives most spew out of cars. It also allows a difference of opinion to become personal immediately. I was taught Emily post rules in school and in my home and find that using them serves me well. I find the "gangsta" mentality and all the tough posing that permeates society and seems to be the new set social rules does not seem to serve anyone except the immature narcissists who pose as gangsters and Hollywood celebrities

Sep 2nd 2010 8:57PM Thanks for your comments and "support". I think Pam simply mis spoke and since i have pnuemonina i would not have spoken back otherwise - just tired. The dog needed sheared due to negelect but hopeflly his fur will grow back right. Someone needs to help the person in the hospital help keep the dog groomed. Yes he is cute with the fur and if we all took better care of our pets, or helped our neighbors care for thieirs it would be a better world.
Nice is as contagious as rude.

Sep 2nd 2010 4:19PM I didn't know simply having an opinion that is different from another person's makes one ignorant Pam. I simply liked the dog before with longer hair. As for shaving, I have a dog that had to be shaved this summer due to a mess he got into that could not be groomed out, so I am familar wiht the porcess.
I think your "ignorance showing" commnet simply points to you own rudeness and intolerance of an opinion other than your own. Makes you sound like a bit of a jerky snob.
