Tips for flying cheaper in 2012 {Gadling}
Feb 10th 2012 7:18AM Actually Kayak is a pain to use, it is not search once and find them all you enter the information once but then every single search site pops up and you have to go site to site. Haven't used it for awhile so maybe it is changed, but I usually find flights cheaper on either hotwire or cheapo air. Forget priceline too they are always highest.
As far as the person that says take your luggage to the gate and it is checked free. I know a few fliers that have tried,they did do it once or twice but then the airlines caught on. You are billed at the baggage claim area when you try to pick them up.

Jun 8th 2011 6:59AM Our service men and women should not be charged any fee, regardless of how many bags they have. In my opinion each one should be given a free fkight hime in first class! They are the ones putting their lives on the line so we have the choice of not putting ours on it. They are also the ones keeping our great (not so great anymore) country able to have all its freedoms. I say they deserve any type of a "thank you" America or its companies and citizens can give them. Shame on Delta!
