Feb 2nd 2011 10:58PM Research your card company and see if there are any pending lawsuits against them for predatory lending practices. If so, send them a letter demanding damages, penalties and interest based on your claim. They of course won't pay it, but it may give rise to a legitimate/good faith dispute. Afterwards, look on your card agreement where it gives the address to send payments made on disputed amounts. Send them a personal check for less than the amount due, marked "payment in full/ accord and satisfaction", enclosed with a letter stating the amount is being tendered as payment in full for your account, and that you agree to drop your claim against them. If they cash it, and don't return your money within 90 days, you're done. They'll continue to call. Do NOT pay any more amounts. Kindly offer to show them a copy of the check you sent, along with correspondence. Again do NOT pay anything further. Done deal.

I feel the same way about my front door. It's reserved for whites only. I've got nothing against black people and I'm not racist. But the front door is whites only. (It's a white thang.)

He couldn't possibly be gay, even though he hasn't pulled the trigger in 9 years, we stopped having sex, went to therapy and he joined the gay beard club. It doesn't mean anything. Besides, that would mean I couldn't have what I want." Followed by.. "Oh my GOD! How could this be?!?!?!"
