Nov 29th 2011 10:25AM Because it is a union contract. That is what was negotiated so that is how they are allowed to get away with it. Many flight attendents are on food stamps because the pay is so low. Many of them have 2 jobs to survive. It's terrible while managment rakes in millions in bonuses.

Not only is the country in shambles and the unemployment sky high, but he wont even honor tradition and lay a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at Arlington over the Memorial Day weekend. He has no respect for our fallen soldiers or our military that defended our freedom. Mainly because this president wants to take it all away.

Apr 13th 2010 10:37AM Some very valid points here. The average person that age would probably have some difficulty lifting out the 45 pound emergency exit door on overwing and it is awkward to do. You have to remember there is not much room to maneuver and you have to throw the door out the hole or put it on the seat inside the plane. Not always as easy as it sounds. But my next question would be how old are the flight attendent on their airplanes. There are many at the airlines that are in their 60s or older and have to operate any of the emergency exits (doors or overwing) and I have seen some that are overweight and have trouble getting down the aisle of the plane. Is that not a safety hazard?

Apr 10th 2010 9:47PM Yes, he owes his fans! He owes his fans more than wins and he let his fans down. He owes it to the kids that looked up to him as a roll model, he owes it to the fans that donated to the Tiger Woods foundation, he owes it to anyone who bought Tiger gear. The fans help put money in his pocket. Why? Because all that was done based on the "image" he portrayed. It was dishonest and a false image. I don't wear anything with the Tiger logo on it anymore. When I did it was because I respected him and was a fan of his golf, admired that he was a good guy, a family man, and an admirable person. That was the image that I saw but that was all it was, an "image". That is why he owes his fans more than just wins. Let someone else that is not only a good golfer but is an honorable person too, get the win. They are the deserving one.

Apr 10th 2010 9:12PM Well written, Jay. Why should people be so quick to forgive Tiger? Shouldn't he have to earn our respect back? He was dishonest with the fans and he was especially dishonest with his wife and kids. I am not saying we should never forgive him, but why so fast. What if he does it again? Then everyone that cheered him in the last few days would be played a fool. He has not proved anything so far. Yes, he has taken the steps for dealing with the situation (sex addiction is a cover)but let's see if he will uphold his end of the deal. The "new" Tiger alread resorted to some of the "old" Tiger habits by swearing and tossing clubs. Let him earn our respect back, otherwise we are just saying, "It's ok what you did, Tiger". Let him think about the consequences for his actions. Hold him to the standard he portrayed to us before. Respect is earned.

Mar 8th 2010 10:06AM Why would anybody watch this, just like why does anybody watch the Bachelor? For reality TV it's not very "real" It's all scripted and much of it is edited for ratings. It's all such crap. Just like someone mentioned how all of sudden Ali's employer is letting her have the time off. ??? Jake doesn't even fly a 737 like on the show, he flies a small regional jet that everyone hates flying on. Hahahaha
