Apr 24th 2013 1:08PM Delta went out of there way to help me. My Grandmother passed away and I had to get to her funeral. She lived in a small town north of Calgary and I lived in Phoenix. The other airline that could get me there was rude and offered no help. I called Delta and they offered me a half price flight and told me to get to the airport as the flight was leaving in 45 min. Well they held the flight for me and waved the charges for that flight. Since that time I have tried to fly with them whenever possable and have ALWAYS been impressed with them. I can believe that they went out of their way to help this young man as well as they ARE the airline that puts people first.

Feb 10th 2013 10:03AM I have always been under the impresion that this country is the land of the free and that as long as you complied with the law you wouldn't be persecuted. Guess this town and the spitful neighbors don't see this and want to take away this man's freedoms. I have seen way to many racetracks and amusment parks taken away by neighbors and developers because they "Didn't Like Them". If the neighbors don't like it then as I statedbefore this is a free country and they can move where ever they like.

Sep 29th 2012 4:24PM Here in Arizona we had a similar problem as the new connection of highway 60 and 10 became our back yard. We fought it and asked for a noise study to be made as the noise had become very bad with over 250,000 passes a day from the intersection. After two DOT studies they told us the very same thing "TO BAD YOU LOSE". Then one smart employee of DOT[he was fired for this suggestion] told us to have the EPA do an air polution study. So we asked the EPA to set up their equipment in our back yard. After less than 24 hours the meters flew off the charts and within a week DOT officials were at our door with a VERY nice offer to buy our house. They gave us the value of the house, the differance in prices for a replacement house of our choice and ALL moving expences. We asked for some time to consider their offer and they then came back with an additional $15,000 for our trouble.
Please don't expect the same for you folks but it would be a step in the right dirrection and with your child acting as he now is it COULD be due to the air quality that is not what it used to be. You can also use the trump card of disabled persons that the Goverment WILL NOT fight if you have evan a small amout of proof as to the damage the air quality seems to be causing.

Aug 3rd 2012 5:49AM So in other words I should stop paying my mortgage and expect the bankers and the federal goverment to pay my mortgage. If one person in this country gets it then ALL of us here in America should also get the very same deal and special treatment as well.

Mar 1st 2012 11:07AM I have been going to the Baja now for over 43 years now and have only had two problems. I ran a red light in Ensenada and was pulled over. The Police were very friendly and showed me the way to see the judge so I could get my fine. The judge threw it all out and other than an hour of my time for running a red light no problem.
The other problem was when I was flying in a small plane and landed in Calexico on our way back home. It was there where an American DEA agent stuck a loaded and cocked 9mm Glock in my mouth. He said that we were trying to out fly his .9 mach Citation with our Cessna 185. YEA RIGHT!!!! Like trying to out run a Ferrari with a tricycle.
I do read about all the deaths/rapes/robberies in Mexico as they are always on the front page in large print while the murders/rapes/robberies[much more numerous] in San Diego are always burried on the back pages in small print.
The old saying about the dog biting the mailman holds true here in this country. Headlines sell newspapers!! Just look at the National Enquirer.
As long as you are polite and are not out trying to break the law Mexico is still a wonderful place to visit. Don't be a stupid or a dumb visitor and you will get along fine.
