Sep 30th 2006 8:48PM Well, I personally am not comfortable seeing any couple being too affectionate in public- straight, gay or lesbian. Their behavior doesn't offend me, but it does make me uncomfortable. And not to mention that I really don't want my children to see it. Very innapropriate for kids to see this in public in my opinion. But it does sound like the airline was overreacting a bit. Does anyone else hear the words "lawsuit" and "discrimination" coming? I'm sure they will pop up eventually over this type of issue.

Apr 26th 2006 11:35AM When we get ready to vacation each year we use www.vrbo.com. It stands for vacation rentals by owner, and the savings are amazing. When we went to Destin, FL we found a 1700 sf condo for 8 people for $1200/week. Not all the deals are great, but they are there. It's worldwide too, so you can use it for anywhere. We live in Oklahoma, and I also don't see why anyone would come here. There are some nice places to visit for those who live here, but certainly not enough to make a great vacation. Of course, I'm partial to water, and Oklahoma is as land locked as you can get. Lakes just seem too dirty here- especially with the drought this year.
